Let's start with the best thing we ate, the fudge tops the list!!! It was creamy, rich and decadent all the things fudge should be and more! We went nutso literally and bought up a variety of candy treats from peanut butter cups to chocolate covered oreos and rice crispy treats to dipped and smothered pretzel sticks. This is our first time trying this place and being here in Little Rock for the first time. We saw the review and proximity from our hotel, so we decided to check it out. The location is nice, but the service is bad. The 2 female staff scooping ice creams were not patience or accommodating. As first time customers, we felt rushed that we cannot think what we really wanted is because all they kept saying was, "Is that it?". It felt like they were rushing us urgently so they can go back to their chit chatting or conversation. We needed to put in another order but one of the girls went to the register and started ringing us, and when we said we got 1 more order, they gave us a look of inconvenience that we added more on the order. We're definitely not coming back not because of the food, but the people chosen to serve their products. The staffs forget sometimes that they are the face of the company and providing excellent customer service is part of what you deliver on this type of business. read more

It's almost like they wait for people to sit down at the tables and then move in. This shop is right next to a secluded alleyway. Location: 1-star Food and Service: 5-stars I love Kilwins. We also went to one in Highland, NC. This time I had a chocolate covered rice krispy and a chocolate covered Oreo. Both were delicious. Didn't last long enough to grab a photo. Stopped in for some ice cream to help cool us down on a hot and humid Saturday evening. Little spot across from the River Market, one of the few places to get dessert treats in this area. They don't have Kilwins in California, so it was a first for all of us. They have ice cream, candies apples, and all kinds of candies. Adequately staffed for a busy Saturday near the river, there were about 7 teens working. Tyler helped us with our ice cream order, a shake (they only have 1 size) and 2 kid scoops. A funny/memorable moment: my youngest daughter wanted to sample their fudgie brownie flavor. I picked her up so she could grab the sample spoon from Tyler, but instead, she just tasted the ice cream as he was holding the spoon. Tyler could've easily been grossed out or thought it was rude of my daughter, but he laughed it off and said it was ok and that he found it funny. He was so helpful and courteous the entire time, and rang up our order at the end. We managed to snag the only bench inside the shop, located near the door, facing the area where they make waffle cones. While we were reading a sign on the wall about where they have locations, the young lady making cones overhead us and asked if we were from the area. We told her we had just moved from California and then told us a couple things to do in the area. While the prices are on the high side, I kept the 5th star for the amazing customer service. If this spot were bigger, it could easily be a nice hangout spot for ice cream/desserts in the evening. Definitely coming back whenever we're hanging out in the area. read more

Oh my. What a lovely treat this turned out to be. My husband and I were visiting family and friends in Little Rock last weekend, but got a chance to walk around downtown for a bit one afternoon. Had a bit of a craving, and thought we'd see what bakeries were nearby. Then spotted a little sign that mentioned chocolate, and figured we'd check that out instead. Glad we did. Everything here is made from original recipes dating back to the 1940s. We had dark chocolate peanut clusters, crunchy toffee, cherry cordials, peanut butter cups and a rice krispie turtle bar. And everything was amazing. You can tell they use fine, quality ingredients. I wish I could've tried more things, but you know how it is. I'm sure these aren't diet. There are stores all over the U.S., but I can only vouch for this one. Top notch chocolate. Also, they make several varieties of fudge, caramel apples and brittle on site - freshest of the fresh. I highly recommend stopping in to pick up a few treats. You won't regret it. read more
