The parking spots are numbered, which threw me off. I didn't want to park and have my vehicle get towed but I learned you can park in any numbered spot. Now on to the stylist, Rodrigo. Rodrigo is super sweet and welcoming. When asked what I wanted in a haircut I explained that my hair is naturally curly but I often wear it straight so I just wanted a trim and nothing too short. She used to be located in San Marcos, but has since transferred to an oceanside location which is VERY easy to find and right off of highway 76. I arrived 10 min. early and google maps brought me to a nail salon. I wasnt sure if that was the correct place, so I texted the number on my confirmation email to double-check. Jada QUICKLY replied and let me know it was at the lashes+beauty location right next to Albertsons. After arriving, I noticed how clean and well styled the location was. Definitely felt upscale, and welcoming! She quickly brought me back and introduced herself. She is so easy to talk to, it almost felt like i've known her for years! The new salon,which has been open for a couple weeks now, is such a better location! It's newer, has fresh floors and paint, and is more spacious which makes me feel even more comfortable getting my sugaring done. Since her move to this location, her Brazilian sugaring service is just as great. I have not yet had a spa or facial service, but I look forward to trying them someday. For anyone wondering how sugaring is different than waxing, you really ought to just try it. I have a thicker hair texture and, since switching to sugaring, I have fewer ingrown hairs and slower growth. Every esthetician is different but what I can say is Katie is quick and efficient. She is a very sweet soul and it has been a pleasure to come to her shop. Juliana, the owner, was so kind to allow me to still come despite close to their closing time. Hated coming from the horrendous traffic from the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Thanks Hailey to the wax specialist who did an amazing job, I shaved a little over 1 week ago, but she was able to still do a great job despite my hairs in private area being somewhat short. Other than that, I was surprised that they also offer spa services here!
