We frantically had to search all over town for a new group appointment just 3 days before my wedding. The excuses for why the nail technicians had to cancel were not legitimate: one of them said they had to cancel because their mom was taking her on a last minute beach trip and the other cancelled because she forgot her son had his senior portraits. They did nothing for us to try to find another nail tech at the company to deliver on the appointment. Fortunately, the Nail Bar fit us in the day we called, and I would strongly suggest you go to the Nail Bar instead of this unprofessional company.

Every visit feels personalized and welcoming. But one experience completely took this to another level. I drove 45 minutes from Memphis just to visit this location (that's how much I love it, it's the closest one), only to arrive and see a sign on the door that they were closed for the day due to HVAC work. Completely my fault! I hadn't checked social media or their website beforehand. I wasn't upset at all and just headed back to my car. I double checked with the gentleman right inside to make sure still closed, and yes unfortunately etc etc. A few minutes later, someone knocked on my window and it was the owner! She heard me mention "oh no! Haha I guess if I'm driving from Memphis to here I need to start checking! I'm such a goober." She told me they would open the salon just for me since I had driven all that way. What followed was hands-down one of the most above-and-beyond customer service experiences I've ever had. They gave me full VIP treatment--helping me choose the right services, walking me through the best order to do everything, and even correcting little things I didn't realize I'd been doing wrong in my routine. They were warm, genuine, and truly invested in making sure I had the best experience possible. And the moment that absolutely made me go to great lengths to write this review was I mentioned how much I loved their robes and wanted to buy one but wished they had longer ones since I'm 6'1". She literally went to her house, grabbed a box of the longer robes, brought them back, and put one aside with my name on it. I mean... who does that? Above and beyond doesn't even begin to describe that. This is what real customer service looks like. This is what it looks like when people genuinely care about their clients and their community. No matter where I travel, I will always make it a point to visit a Glo Tanning. I'm completely sold. I believe a closer salon is opening near me in the next year and I am so excited!
