I wished I could give zero stars! I called ahead and was supposed to have gotten an appointment. I get there and had to wait. Then I stated I wanted dipped nails and was given acrylic nails instead. I don't care for acrylic nails as I find they are too thick and don't look and feel natural. I came here for the first time Monday morning and got a dip manicure (no tips) and chrome. I paid almost 70$ including a tip for only nails. By Monday afternoon my nails were chipping and the top coat of chrome was peeling off in large pieces. I called disappointed and he said to come back in and they would fix it. Due to my work schedule I could not come in till this morning. By this morning, only 3 days after, 4 nails were completely off and the rest broken or matte - as the top coat of chrome had completely peeled off. When I came in this morning I simply asked for the nails to be removed. After being asked multiple times, I finally folded and allowed him to put gel on my nails - thinking it was compensation for the 70$ manicure that lasted 3 days. However, I was still charged for the service and instead offered a student discount of 10%. This is extremely irritating as I was a student three days ago when I came and paid full price. As previously stated, I'm a student. I can not afford to spend almost 100$ on my nails in one week which is why I stated multiple times - "I only want them removed". If I had known that I was going to be pressured into paying for another service - I would have removed my nails myself and never stepped in there again. Not to mention - even after paying, every single one of my nails is a different length. Over all, I will not be returning, recommending, or telling anyone anything positive regarding my experience. Definitely ask for Judy! They took me in right away without an appointment, luckily, and they were nice. Pedicure was simple & great. Judy gave me a full gel acrylic set of nails & did a job so amazing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist & I couldn't be happier with her work! It was painless. The full mani + a pedicure cost me $85. But it was worth every penny as I have had horrible experiences in the past!! read more

I asked for a manicure with dip which should be 35 dollars (I went 3 weeks before and it was 35). I could tell the lady was rushed because the minute she took my previous dip off, she began putting my new dip color on, completely dissing the manicure part. I also had two nails that broke, so they were much shorter and she didn't even bother to ask whether I wanted to cut down my other nails or put acrylic on the shorter ones. Because of this my nails are all different lengths. In my mind I was thinking that she just forgot and won't charge me for the manicure but then went I went to pay she said it was $40. Came here on an afternoon because I had heard good things about it. It was a busy afternoon, so I had to wait awhile which was alright. The technician I had was very rough with how he was handling my hands and nails during the whole process. He cut into my cuticles and caused so much pain to the point where I pulled my hand away and said "ow", but he continued with the pressure and said nothing. My cuticles were bleeding and sore when I left the salon. My nails were not filed evenly either, and I paid $45 for a full set of gel acrylics. I'm sure I got unlucky with the technician, but I will not be coming back here. I think $45 is too much to leave a salon with my hands in pain. I'm disappointed. read more

Came in asking for a new set and for them to SOAK off my old acrylics but instead tried to talk me into just getting a fill in. When I insisted to get a new a set they completely ignored my request to soak them off and proceeded to just pull them off by separating the glued nail from my real nail and ripping them off. Two of my fingers were bleeding from this and they continued on. My new nails look great but it was a very painful experience. I have always enjoyed going to get my nails done but this was horrible. I went here to get my nails SOAKED off but instead they just decided to separate my nail from the acrylic and rip them off. they ripped half of my actual nail off of two of my fingers and when i was bleeding quite a bit they decided to keep going instead of soaking them off. I took my friend here for her birthday. We were in the mood to try something new. We wanted to treat ourselves! We went into this nail salon at about 5:30 and I realize they close at 7 and I did feel bad because I knew my friend wanted fake nails. I know that takes a long time and they were ready to go home. All I wanted was gel paint... both of us picked colors from the samples they gave us and neither of us got the color we chose. The sample is a complete different color from what it looks like on the nail. I mean brown when you asked for pink sor of thing. I wanted glitter nails for the holiday and I asked if they could do sparkling green with sparkling red tips. They said yes and after the third person attempting to make the nail look like the one they had on display I gave up. The man said " this is not working because your nail is ugly." " you should have asked for green and then the glitter." THATS NOT MY CALL! After some really embarrassing remarks about how i have harrier arms than the male that works there they said "next time you should come get eyebrows done." This place is CLEAN, well organized, lots of colors and the people are nice. They use disposable liners for pedicures and I have never had to wait long. It is a nice break and I look forward to it. Fashion Nail Spa is the closest nail shop to Ole Miss and the least expensive. Plus I always get compliments on my nails. read more

I've never had a bad experience at this salon until today. It all just depends on who's doing your nails. I always ask for Ryan because he's a literal nail god and know how to give a massage. He wasn't there today so I got another lady. First off, she could barely speak English and when I asked her to fix certain things, she pretended to understand me and didn't fix anything. I still have dead skin and yellow callas on my feet and my polish looks horrible. When I said I wasn't paying full price, the entire salon including the manager wanted to act like I was insane. I paid $20 for a pedicure that looks like a 3 year old did it. I also needed a manicure but they refused to let me have someone else and told me either she's going to do it or no one is. I have to go out of town in 1 hour so I didn't have tome to wait on anyone. That's another thing she pretended to understand me saying was I'm in a hurry. i got a dip manicure last night and honestly this is the worst it's ever been. this is not the color i asked for. i picked a navy blue and this is more of a green color. also my nails are not smooth but are wavy and not the shape i asked for either. my pinkys are see-threw and i asked them to reshape my nails twice. they are already peeling and dip doesn't do that. they charged my friend $35 but charged me $40 and we got the exact same thing. i've come here many times and this is unacceptable read more

I absolutely will not go back. Went and got Shellac gel manicure and two hours later, two of my nails had chipped. I have to go back and they fix it. The next morning, I see that another nail cracked and the gel is peeling. Shouldn't be happening less than 24 hours later, especially with gel. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been getting my nails filled every 3 weeks for 5 years now. I have never had an experience like this. The lady was so rude and literally refused to answer my questions about being charged extra. I go in and she says I waited too long to come in for a fill. Trying to convince me my nails are bad... rips 3 nails off and tells me it's an extra $3 per nail. I said I do not understand what so ever. But it was impossible to ask about because she could barely speak English and understand me. THEN as she's doing my nails I asked when she was planning on cutting them because I like them short. I get my nails cut short every single time I get a fill.... no extra charge ever. She tried charging me extra for that?!? That's what comes with a fill!! I can't operate with long nails. I've never been charged extra for that. They are only trying to suck money out of me and I'm a broke college student. I've tried this place twice, because I thought the first time was an accident. The first time I went in I waited for 2 hours when they kept telling me it would only be another ten minutes. They finally sat me down and then made me go back and wait because someone else claimed they were there before me (they weren't). Then I got a full set and all my nails were different shapes. I thought maybe they were in a rush so I few months later I tried them again for a fill. The lady was so rushed that she cut 4 of my cuticles. I was one of 2 people in the salon, she had no reason to rush. She then asked me if I wanted an eyebrow wax and when I said no, she continued to ask and even told me I needed them done. I will say they did a good job on my nails but after it was all said and done my total for a mani-pedi ~should~ have been around $30 and instead was charged $48 to my card for a paraffin wax manicure-pedicure (which it wasn't). I tipped in cash and on my bank statement it went through as $58 so either pay in cash or find somewhere else. Honestly, not worth wasting your money. What a sham read more
