I was able to take 22/3 all the way from the Landen/Loveland area to Wilmington. The church is located directly off of 22 and 3-so it is easily accessible. I was invited to attend the 10 o'clock service in June as a soft opening after the coronavirus quarantine. In all honesty, it was my first time being around a large group of people. The churches near my house and closer to my area had not made the decision to re-open with physical services as of yet. This was my first time walking into a church building in quite some time! Due to the coronavirus and limiting the number of people inside the church, the church offered various services to help spread the people about the church, so that everyone would feel comfortable. When I walked in, I noticed how much space was between each row. I asked my friend about that spacing, and she said that the church removed every other row. I admire a church willing to go to great lengths while following all of the rules of social distancing. In all honesty, it was very hard not to shake anyone's hand, as I was welcomed into the church. The administration of the church, as well as the pastor, made sure to nicely remind us to try to keep our distance from each other. You could definitely tell that the church was recently remodeled. Everything was nice and clean. They had a large area at the front of the church, where the pastor preached. They had an area for all of the musicians and the choir; however, due to the coronavirus and social distancing, they had a limited number of musicians and singers on stage. I also liked that there were two large screens on each side of the platform and stage, as you could see an up close version of whatever was happening on stage. Everyone was so very friendly at this church, and I felt very welcomed! It was a very typical Baptist church that used the king James version. They put the Bible verses on the screen. I also liked that they offered Bibles to anyone who did not have one. Instead of turning in the Bible once a guest or member finished using it, they were encouraged to keep the Bible to take home and read. After a great message Full of scripture, there was an altar call and closing music. One of my favorite parts of the service was watching a woman sign to a very heartfelt song about Jesus. I was told they have a ministry where this lady is teaching others to sign as well. I think that is super-cool and one of the many ministries of this church. If you live in the area and are looking for a home church, you will find this to be a church focused on God and bringing the community to Jesus.

Do not recommend. Very cliche-y within the staff and organization, like a child in high-school…read more Resembles a cult mentality. More about themselves, their image in community with their lavishness, and their building, more than they are actually focused on Jesus.
