Brunch here was pretty great, there will almost certainly be a line but worth a reasonable wait. The menu was pretty appealing, and couldn't resist the shakshuka. The portion is gigantic so don't expect to finish it, loved the flavor and richness of the sauce. The eggs were a little too done for my liking, I usually prefer them more runny. My friend who is vegan got the plate with no egg and cheese. They gave them faux minced meat and eggplant to replace the egg which looked delicious!! It is hard to find a place to eat out because my friends I went with have vey restrictive diets. Factory Girl has something for everyone. We were seated at a table with two adults and a baby. It is common for restaurants in Germany to have communal tables. The almond milk lattes that my friends and I got were delicious. The espresso was very smooth and it was nice that the almond milk foam was presented in a leaf design. My friend and I shared the Vegan in Der Mitte, which is basically avocado toast and the healthy shakshuka. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meals. We ended our brunch with a chocolate Coco Anjéla. I really don't see what people could discredit this place for. There wasn't anything that told me it shouldn't be a 5 star review. Factory girl has some of the most professional staff I've ever encountered for a brunch establishment, and they get packed within 20 minutes of opening. I came to the location 15 minutes before they opened to make sure I could get a table before the crowd showed up. Everyone's food came out perfectly to order, even with alternatives. Coffee was delightful, and did its job to wake me up! My Shakshuka tasted great. It had a rich note overall with tomato sauce that was not overwhelming at all. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options- only downfall I can say is that as of 8-8-22, there were a lot of wasps buzzing around when I was waiting to be seated and even when we were seated outside. Sofia's healthy salad was good no doubt! BUT 14€ for that little amount is almost only worth 3 stars and feels like a rip off. The portions are so small and the price so high relative to that. I had to order 2 meals - Sofia healthy salad and magic mushroom eggs to get only "ok full" - I paid 30€ with a small bottle of water. That's too much for a healthy meal to get full. My friends and I had tried to come by on a Saturday for lunch, but the waits were quoted to be about an hour long, so we found another place nearby to grab some food at. The next day, though, we figured we could try to see if we would be able to dine here. We went at around 11:00AM, and there was a line there again, but we were quoted about 20 minutes wait time instead, so we decided to put our names down. As made evident with the previous paragraph, this place is pretty popular, so every available seat was taken, and it was just pretty tight. Their menus had a decent variety of brunch-y items. I opted for the Nureyv's white omelet, which came with an impressive 6 egg white omelet, avocado, halloumi, a side salad, and a beet spread. The omelet itself was a little too thick for my liking, but the sides were tasty, as was the bread that came with our meals. My friends got other types of omelets, which they all seemed to like as well. You may notice this right when you get in, but by the cash register there is a display case with large bowls of what looked like different types of puddings. We found out that they were Coco Anjelas, which are basically different types of their proprietary custardy desserts. Since we were all pretty full from our brunches, we decided to just share a normal sized portion of their banana flavored Coco Anjela. I wish I had had more space in my stomach to have gotten a larger portion, because the Coco Anjela was absolutely delicious. It was pretty much a very creamy banana pudding with chunks of Graham crackers mixed inside, and it was so, so good. If anything, make sure you get one of those with your meal because they are pretty unique and they are pretty stellar. I think the Coco Anjela made the wait worth it. The Nureyv's white omelet was okay, but I wouldn't have wanted to wait an hour on line to get it. Maybe it's less busy here during the week, which would mean less wait times if you really want to come by here. read more

FOOD: I hope you like eggs because this is exactly what you have to order. Sandwiches are tasty too but not as good as the eggs, and the Sofia salad looks amazing even though I didn´t have the chance to try it. However what captivated me about this place was the way food is presented (check out my pictures in order to get an idea). Attention to detail and love characterizes the way food is served here. However there is always room for improvement and I do have to critizice one thing. The place advertises its Magnolia dessert (which is also offered upon checkin on yelp), but it seems like they don´t have it anymore or they quickly run out of it. It seems like this happens quite often and it is a pity that their signature dish is not available at all times. PLACE: The restaurant has a very special charm to it. Decor falls somewhere in between rustic natural and shabby chic. Although it is small, it is not very hard to get a table but make sure to give them a call if you are a big group of people. If you are having brunch with a special someone or if you are struggling to finish your novel you should definitely give this place a shot. They don´t have wifi so go an write your thesis somewhere else. Also it is very central and yet not very touristy. You can find this place right in between Rosenthaler Platz, Rosa-Luxemburg Platz, Hakescher Markt and Oranienburger area which are all great places to walk around exploring all the way from streetart, great restaurants & cafes, and unique stores. SERVICE: The staff is very friendly and relaxed and you will really feel pampered. To give you an example, I asked for a glass of tap water and the owner herself came with a whole jar a few minutes later. I came back and was told they no longer have any vegan products. I inquired online with Facebook but still have yet to receive a response. My only guess can be that it's cheaper, but getting rid of veg options for a slight savings of money is just bad business. We will see if I get a response back, but for now I am just disappointed. Factory Girl is located in the very cozy areas of Mitte, among other cute cafés and restaurants, but this place is well worth a visit. Me and my boyfriend was here for coffee an afternoon. The place is welcoming and with unorganised interior, true Berlin style. There are many corners to crawl up in, try to get one by a window to look out on the quite street. Service in Berlin is very mixed, and to be frank, not always the best but the staff here is very friendly. We had a cherry pie, the best one I've ever had, and two great coffee americanos. The first morning my friends and I landed in Berlin we were pleased with the wonderful brunch options around the Mitte neighborhood. You know you've chosen a good place when locals are in the house. The staff was very friendly, though they do not always speak the most proficient English. I had the fried egg with bacon platter...and it was delicious...perhaps I would have given the spinach more attention if not for the DELICIOUS BREAD (homemade too!) They have their recipe down alright - the flavors were perfectly balanced sans weird aftertaste and spongy in the mouth. Also, the soy latte's are on point.
