We had a ton of tables, decorations, and little details to set up on the day of, and Megan kept reassuring us she could handle it all. We hesitated, but we put our trust in her and she delivered beyond anything we could've hoped for. She somehow managed to get everything set up perfectly while still being available for every question, every little thing we needed throughout the day. She wasn't just doing a job; she genuinely cared and showed up for us in a way that felt like we had a trusted friend by our side. Then the rain hit during our reception. My wife and I were starting to lose it, but Megan stayed calm and steady. She pulled up this detailed weather app, helped us time our photos and speeches perfectly between the downpours, and kept our spirits up when we felt like giving up. Honestly, without her, that rain could have ruined the day but Megan made it feel like just another part of the story. On top of all that, she stayed after we left to help clean up, making sure everything was wrapped up beautifully. Megan went above and beyond in every way possible. Miriam's band performed at my wedding in Beverly Hills, and I can't imagine celebrating without…read morethem. From the moment I contacted her to the day before the wedding, she was always available, reassuring, and well-organized. As a bride I felt super stressed, but Miriam never let me feel like I was alone in any of it. It was important to me that both of our families' backgrounds were represented, and they delivered beyond what I could have ever hoped for. She suggested that I create a Spotify playlist to give her an idea of the kind of music we wanted. We had all sorts of requests that any other band might have refused because they weren't part of their typical repertoire. We wanted Jewish music for the chair dance, French music for my husband's side, "La Murga de Panamá," and, of course, SALSA. Not only did Miriam agree to all of them, but she also happily suggested some ideas of her own, like singing "La Vie en Rose" in French for our last dance! The band performed all of the music beautifully. They arrived early and tested the audio in the venue's small outdoor space, and everyone was impressed by their setup. Miriam took on multiple roles, acting as the wedding emcee, singer, and DJ. They also made sure to film some of the performances and dancing without ever feeling intrusive. It's obvious that she and her family work hard to make sure these events run smoothly without sacrificing any of the fun. Our venue insisted that a live band wouldn't work... until Miriam came along and proved everyone wrong. She and her team are experienced professionals who made our lives a lot easier and our wedding a lot more fun. One of my favorite parts of the night was seeing people dance who we never expected to see on the dance floor, like our moms dancing together and guests we had never seen dance before, even an older gentleman who had more energy than anyone else during the dance contest. The band brought out a side of our guests that made the celebration so special. A year later, and guests still talk about the music. In order to save costs on our wedding, my family cooked all of the food. I didn't however, like the idea of having my family serve dinner as well; and buffet style never works out because you either have way to much left over, or not enough. We also had a backyard wedding in the beginning of Summer, which can lead to a bug problem, so in-comes this amazing company. I provided them a detailed outline of how and when the food should be served, and they surpassed all of my expectations. They are so professional and detail oriented, I was blown away. For example, it was in the high 80s and though I advised them it was okay, they kept their black ties on the entire time they worked. After serving appetizers, drinks, bread, salad, the main entrée, ushering guests, dessert, and more, they even cleaned my kitchen and threw out the garbage. It was amazing, I received so many compliments about how professional they were as well. I can't recommend them enough, I'm trying to look for an excuse to have another party, just so I can book them again!

While it would be great to have less of these issues, they paled in comparison to the value of the rental. I would highly recommend this lodge, particularly for large gatherings!
