We were told by our builder that our new condo would be ready to settle in July of 2021 (or, a total of 9 months renting). We signed the new condo contract JUST before the Global COVID 19 Pandemic. At the end of the first rental lease (of 9 months), the owner of the rental unit was understandably considering selling the rental condo. With such high demand, market prices soared to unprecedented levels. Rather than sell, Kelly Realty and the owner agreed to rent us the unit for another 2 months. And before it was all over, supply chain shortages and work stoppages precipitated 5 more lease extensions, and a total of 17 months rental! The women at Kelly Cove Realty (Lisa & Candace) worked with the owner on our behalf many times to help us avoid being without a home to live in, and the nightmare of additional temporary moves. We are so pleased they were able to keep us in that one condo for the entire duration of 17 months. Many Many Thanks for the Kelly Cove Team generosity during an extremely chaotic & hectic time. A++

I bought a new home this year and Bo Rathgeber at Preferred Properties Group represented us. We…read moreknew him for years as the property manager of the home we were renting. He was always easy to work with and friendly. When we decided that we wanted to buy a home, he provided us with listings information on properties in greater Fort Myers that were in our price range and area. We went out on several occassions and toured homes with him to figure out what we wanted. He pointed out both the good and the bad on properties. When we found a property that we liked, Bo gave us information on what similar houses had sold for so that we could make a fair estimate of the value. He wrote the purchase contract so that our deposit was protected in case the house did not pass inspection, we did not get our loan, or it did not appraise for atleast as much as we agreed to pay. Unfortunately, we had to cancel two contracts because the inspections were bad. On the first one, the house had a roofover which we could not have known about without an inspection. The Seller tried to save money and did a partial repair that we could have gotten stuck with if our agent was not looking out for us. On the second one, the house had problems too and we cancelled and got our deposit back on that one too. In the process, we realized that we are new home people and we wanted things to be perfect. Based on that, Bo found a new home community with very nice houses in our price range. He went with us to the community and we toured some. We liked the new homes there and decided to buy a house. He helped us negotiate a great price and we were able to buy our house for less than other ones the builder was selling. We have been very happy in our new house and Bo did a great job representing us as our Buyer's Agent.
