I have been coming to this spot for a long time now, just under 9 years or so. First, when it was located at the airport plaza, and then when it moved to its current location beside My Favorite Muffin, along Post Rd. (Strange that the GPS still shows the airport plaza location, though.) This is a no-nonsense, good service, clean spot. The girl who does my eyebrows has been taking care of me since I started going to this location. She is attentive, just-right friendly, and always goes the extra mile to make sure I get the cleaning I seek. On a few occasions, I have also availed of the henna eyebrow temporary shading. I highly recommend going to this place. There is no membership required. No pressure. All the ladies who work there are very sweet and professional. read more

This is my go-to place to trim down my favorite little greek unibrow. No frills, sparse environment with parking, no wait, and comfortable chairs that recline well even for a 5'9" frame. I have to give a special shout out to the thread they import from India, which is higher quality and much less irritating than I've experienced elsewhere. My friend goes here for her bikini waxes because they are so affordable, and so I tested them out with a simple arm wax, for my favorite whiskered forearm. While it was fine and relatively cheap ($20 for lower arms), they only use roller ball applicators. Not sure how those get sanitized between uses, so precede with caution on what you wax :). The salon says they also offer cuts, etc - but I've never seen a stylist working behind the chair. If you like dermalogica you can get it here as it's the skin care line they sell. If you want it used during a facial I would ask for it, as I haven't seen those bottles in the esthetics room. read more

This chain of eyebrow threading is subpar. I should've checked Yelp's reviews first! This review is for the location at 1535 post road, but if the reviews are any indication, the other locations must be just as bad. Came here for eyebrow shaping and wasted 15 minutes. The lady did not know how to shape thick eyebrows nor the art of eyebrow shaping. I left looking like nothing had been done... no shape. And after explaining to her I wanted my eyebrows more defined, she still did nothing. She was not qualified at all. I have been to many eyebrow threading places and this is by far the worst. Do yourself a favor and do not go here. There are so many eyebrow threading places in RI that are so much better. First and last time that I come here. read more

Based on the ratings on yelp I decided to check this place out for a bikini wax. The woman did a very thorough job - but she left a lot of wax! She cleaned up a bit but she left the room giving me baby oil and some time to clean myself up so she could attend to a walk-in. I have never experienced something like that before and will not be back. To address someone else's question..yes, they do use roller but the rollers are disposable so they only use one per client. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for ten years now at various locations in RI. I have been to Sukhy's in Pawtucket and Seekonk before, as well as this location in Warwick one other time. I was a faithful client of Panache for years (close to my home at the time) and am now devoted to Smiley Eyes in East Greenwich. Today, because I am in a pinch and couldn't go another day with these grizzly brows I went to Sukhy's on Post Rd because it is 5 minutes from work...so I took a ride on my lunch break. What a mistake! Never, in ten years, have I been handled so roughly where a half hour my brows are still red and I am bleeding!! What a terrible experience. The woman absolutely manhandled me, didnt bother to check for symmetry, stray hairs, to trim the length with scissors - nothing! Just ripped through 10+ hairs at a time with no regard for my skin. I was cringing, crying, and so upset I just wasted 10 bucks on this and I will have to go back to Smiley Eyes in a week to have my brows re-shaped because she destroyed what I had going. She was the only one working, besides a way too loud and talkative stylist in the back. There was a steady stream of women coming in on lunch, but that is no reason to blow through client's in record speed (seriously, 2 minutes). That is some terrible customer service and sub-par work. Never ever again. Ms. Sukhy herself should be incredible disappointed that one of her studio's is producing this kind of work. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars, been there twice and the second time was worst than the first! I walked in 3 hours before they closed and the girl said she was going to close so I apologized and said I could come back she huffed and said no ill do it. A customer should never feel like a bother especially when you shouldn't be closing 3 hours early with no sign. I will never waste my hard earned money on this place ever again and neither should you. I recommend the girl at the Warwick mall she is sweet and does a fantastic job! read more

Went there yesterday and had the lady named Sumi. She took her time and did a great job!!! I go there all the time and she is the best!!!

I decided to treat myself to an eyebrow threading this weekend and came to Sukhys because it was much closer than the place I normally go to. The place itself is clean and has great parking. When I got there, the person who does the threading was working with a different customer. Once she was done, she had me sit in another chair as the previous customer was still in her chair. I will say that the chairs are very comfortable. She starting threading my brows when the previous customer said that her lip was bleeding. Both the woman doing the threading and the person sitting at the counter saw this, said "oh ... sorry" as the woman explained that the person doing the threading caught her skin and was clearly waiting for them to do something about it. They never did more than give an insincere apology! I wasn't too impressed with how they handled it. At this point, I couldn't leave because she had already started mine. Now, to be fair, I'm not sure if she was angry due to the previous customer complaining or what. She was extremely rough and in process of doing the threading kept hitting my eyes because she was trying to work so fast. Instead of asking me to move my hands when she didn't need me to hold the area anymore she literally smacked them out of the way (not once, but twice ... very aggressively). When she was done, she just stopped working and walked away without saying a word, into a back room. She didn't ask me if I wanted her to do anything else or even show me the work she had done. I paid at the counter and went to the car. I was in quite a bit of pain (I've been having my eyebrows threaded for 4 or 5 years and this has never happened before.) I looked in the mirror and I had two spots that were bleeding!! She was working so aggressively and roughly that she caught two spots of skin and tore it. To top it all off, when I got home I had to pluck and use little scissors to clean them up because she hadn't done a good job at all. I caution anyone who is thinking of trying this place. They are very unprofessional in how they handle things and I've never been more disappointed in a salon experience. I left feeling like I paid for nothing but to be treated rudely and now have these blister spots from the bleeding. I probably wouldn't be writing a review if it were just me, but the previous customer also left bleeding and unhappy. read more
