This larger Sukoshi Mart by the Cineplex mall entrance is big and spacious. The beauty/cosmetic section is on the left when entering. Currently, the right side is a Genshin Impact section. The centre of the store has a lot of blind boxes and other merchandise. The back right is the K-pop section with all the albums, light sticks, and BT21 merchandise. The current promotions they have are 50% off BT21 merchandise and buy three, get one free with K-pop albums and light sticks. read more

Unfortunately I was convinced to purchase Medicube PDRN Pink collagen capsule cream and had an unpleasant reaction. It was too strong for my skin. The return policy was not explained to me by the salesperson. I tried to get a refund at the store but was told I had to send the product back to Sukoshi and pay for postage. They refused to reimburse me at Sukoshi saying the product was opened. So how can one test it if not to open it. I never experienced this with any other company. If I had a reaction I was refunded. Poor customer policy. And to have to pay for postage with no intention of a refund from the company is appalling. Stay away. I certainly will. Customer service was awful and just did not care. They said it was not ideal but how they operated. Please share this with others. read more

I don't spent a whole lot of time at shopping malls. In late July, I was at Scarborough Town Centre, checking out the food court. Nearby this area was this Sukoshi Mart store. I have only visited this store in Mississauga a few times. I didn't realize that STC had one, so I dropped by to check it out. This store has a lot of cute and practical Japanese and Korean merchandise. It appealed to me. I especially like when you get a product that is both cute and practical. For instance, you could get Angie the booklight. Angie happens to be a purple anglerfish that allows you to read in darker areas. I also liked a bacon mousepad. It was adorable! There were beauty products, such as eyeshadow, hairbands, and facial masks. The prices were pretty good considering the assortment of shades that you got in the former. The selection of hairbands was limited. The facial mask varieties were excellent. This store had a lot of plushies. You can get boba ones in a variety of colours. They were cute and sweet. It also had the cutest PopSockets. The characters on them were rather large, so it may not appeal to everyone. I ended up getting a purple boba tumbler that was heavily discounted. The fact that it had a diamond-cut lid and was purple drew me in to buying it. The price was also right. I had a friendly woman at the checkout. She advised that sale items were final, so exchanges or refunds weren't allowed. I understood this policy, as I had checked that my tumbler was in good shape before I committed to buying it. I paid with a debit card. All went well. My tumbler is pretty cool. It's cute and it keeps cold drinks cold for many hours. I enjoyed shopping at this store. We've been to other locations, but this one surprised us the most! We only went to the MO Sukoshi side because that was new to us. Our eyes were wandering everywhere because of all the KPOP merchandise. We were extremely surprised to see lightsticks in the back as well and had to purchase a few. The sales associates that were working there knew their inventory really well and we're extremely nice! Need to come back here!! read more

Cute store full of fun little knick knacks. They've got some great Korean skin care too! It's run by some younger individuals so they don't always seem most prepared to help answer questions (product knowledge is quite lacking). At the Mississauga location, they're so knowledgeable about each of the skin care products. Maybe because this place is a smaller location? Still, I just ended up having to Google for myself. Staff are nice though and the store is always kept really clean. I will say, a lot of stuff a bit over priced. There are many unique Japanese and Korean items.The store mainly sells snacks, desserts, skincare products, stationary, trinkets and stuffed animals. There are also many macaron options from Daango Cake Lab. With that said, the Kensington Market Sukoshi Mart has many onigiri variety, whereas this location does not. This is the same store that was opened in Baldwin downtown awhile ago. I like it because they sell all these cute socks, stationaries, pens, sticky notes and different Japanese snacks. This one is larger compared to the downtown one so they carry more variety and stocks such as doraemon lucky cat post cards, Japanese lucky charm that brings you good lucky, in career, studying, health, love, victory. Just like the ones you would get in Japan. They sell macarons from the Daan go place and also different flavoured mochi. I had the Hojichi one and it was tasty! STC is getting better and better with these new cute stores. read more

A neat place to visit and nice to reminisce on your previous experiences in Japan. It is a store that contains a lot of Japanese goods that are very specific and not found anywhere else. My friend won a contest and we went by the Mall to check it out and it was a pretty cool experience. They have all the typical unique Japanese stuff like customized/cartoon socks, snacks only available in Japan, and many drinks that you can get nowhere else, except from here (Not even at T and T). It is a really cute store and my friend is just absolutely in love with the place. She has mentioned to me that the coffee there "BOSS Coffee" is literally one of the best coffee drinks that she has ever had in her life and that she will always be willing to come down to this shop to get her Japanese Coffee craving. We came here literally near the end of the day on a weekend and it was still relatively packed with a lot of customers buying cute themed snacks and drinks. It is really nice to see different themed stores inside a well known establishment such as STC and I hope that they will do well and be here for the long term. read more

Let's start with why I won't return: As a K-beauty expert I was highly disappointed with the selection. It was sold as a K-beauty emporium. Perhaps for the beginner ...but I wouldn't recommend it if you're just starting your Korean beauty journey. I know I was nuts to take the 1.2 hour journey from downtown Toronto to the heart of Scarborough but when it comes to K-beauty I'll go anywhere (trip to Seoul, anyone?) This was a letdown. Products are grossly overpriced. The products I did come across were run-of-the-mill (I try to find new brands and products wherever I go). Cosrx, Mediheal, Innisfree, Etude House, Elizavecca, Neogen. VERY limited items belonging to each line. The worst part? Lack of customer service. I picked up two gold snail masks with a price tag of $4.75 each. The cashier exclaimed "oh, they're ringing in at $5.50." In major retailers that's called a MISTAKE - and you receive the price as marked. Not so in this shop. Disgusted, I told her to remove them from my bill. Spent over $100 on items I *did* need ...but never again. The dog is cute, okay. But that's it. Not a fan of the overall experience. read more

Sukoshi Mart just opened at Scarborough Town Centre. The true hidden gem inside are the cute macarons made by Daango Cake Lab and daifuku Michu from Sasaki's Fine Pastry! I tried 4 of the macaron the mango, black sesame, Vietnamese coffee & matcha. The daifuku are definitely something I recommend you try! They are so soft, fluffy and delicious. I tried the matcha and red bean flavours. I like how I can go to sTC which is easily accessible and pick these treats up. The decor and space inside Sukoshi Mart is very cute. I am sure I will be back to buy stationary and other cute things soon. read more

This location is much bigger than the one in Kensington Market and much more comfortable. Everything was neatly presented and very organized. It was like an upscale snack store. There is a variety of items including snacks, stationary, make-up, and utensils. There is still a lot of space in the store so there is plenty of room for them to expand their selection of items. As usual, imported snacks from Asia are overpriced in here. Most of the items that you can buy in Asia for $1 CAD are $3-5 CAD in Sukoshi mart. Also, the prices in this store are higher compared to prices for imported snacks in bigger stores such as T&T Supermarket. Other than the items being marked up significantly, I think they offer a wide selection of imported snacks if you are looking for them and you are conveniently inside the mall. read more

The hype for the uptown location of it made me very excited to visit them at Scarborough Town Centre. But when I walked in, it was quite underwhelming. They had moved into a store layout that most likely used to be a Lululemon, but it wasn't used to its capacity. It definitely was spacious to walk around, but how they presented the items was very lacking. Although they do bring a great selection of the Japanese/Korean cosmetics and snacks, I wish there was more of a selection to see. Also, the daifukus offered do not have actual fruit in it, as it is more of a jam consistency. That was disappointing. But I do come here for the socks, so cute! I think overall, if you are looking for some of the more popular Japanese/Korean items, then this is a place definitely worth visiting. read more

Sukoshi Mart's online shopping is a disaster and their customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. The main issue is that they sent me the incorrect items. They did not respond to my customer inquiry until I followed up after 2 days. They only respond to their emails once a day. After an entire week of back-and-forth, their solution is that they will send my correct order only when they receive the incorrect items back. I told them I do not have a printer to print the return label and that going to a post office is outside my work hours. It will take me some time to send the items back. In the meantime, I requested they send my correct items because I have been waiting several weeks to use these items. They refused. It is unreasonable and unprofessional that I have to wait additional time to receive the items I paid for based on their mistake. I do not recommend shopping online. read more

This review is long over due. I consider Sukoshi Mart as my happy place. I am a regular customer. In fact, I own a plush toy of their Shiba Inu mascot (and plan on buying the tote bag when they reopen!), and I can't sleep without it. One is never too old for adorable plush toys. My skincare routine mostly consists of Asian skincare brands, and I was delighted when I found out that Sukoshi carries them. They sell products from some of the sought-after Korean skincare brands like Missha, CosRx, and Benton. They also carry Korean and Japanese body and hair care products and make-up. Limited, but great curation of products. However, I do hope they carry more Japanese skincare and body care brand names like Hada Labo, Naturie, and Melano in the future. They stick to the actual converted Canadian price range, which I really appreciate. They have a good variety of Asian snacks. I always go for fresh kimchi. It is quite overpriced (compared to Asian supermarkets), but it is usually 50% off towards the end of the day, so I get a good deal. What else? They carry Gudetama socks - basically cute socks and headbands - and stationary. And oh, customer service is great. read more
