Kornell was most helpful with picking out plants that were best suited for the space, pointing out the duration of sun in a particular place, potential growth of plants, all the things the majority of people don't think about. A few plants had to be relocated to another place on the property, he was happy to move them. This spring we wanted a portion of our front lawn resodded, of course we called Southside Lawn for the job. Our lawn looks amazing! Where something had it and shattered. I called Kornell and informed him on what happened. I even texted him a picture. There was absolutely no communication from him. Also, the irrigation company came out about an hour ago and come to find out that I had a broken head again, where they damaged. So now I got a broken window and a busted sprinkler head that has to be replaced due to their incompetence. And make it so bad I was paying him an extra $25 every two weeks for them to walk my front yard to make sure that there were no sprinkler heads sticking up b4 they start cutting. The last cut, 17Jul, no one from the crew walked the front yard. I was watching them from a far. Now he has completely ghosted me. I texted him to inform that I will NO LONGER be using them at this address. $370. (Window) & $80. (Sprinkle head) later.

When he DOES finally accept a call or a text, he claims that he will get the job done, yet no time or date is ever confirmed. We have been patient for a long time. He does build a nice pool. But the journey was mentally draining and frustrating when he didn't communicate with us. His crew left trash and spare equipment around the yard. He hasn't walked us through how to use the pool equipment/app. We were left to test our own water at startup. He hasn't even seen the final product of the pool we paid for. The only times he physically came were to receive payments. If you still want to do business with Terrell's Pools after reading this review, you will need a lot of patience, and don't be hasty to schedule time away from your job to oversee your future pool because they most likely won't show up/on time. We tried to be understanding of his schedule, but perhaps his priorities need to be evaluated. Time management, communication, and following through are vital to a professional and respectable business. An update on this review will take place when the inspection is complete.

They laid 90' of concrete walkway which is trash and needs to be ripped out and replaced. I am an absentee owner and contracted him on one of my trips down. Was attentive when I owed him money. Took some pics as they were doing work and sent to me. It was dark when they finished so pics weren't really representative of what I discovered on my recent trip down. Couldnt run or follow a string line for a straight path. Started a slope but then realized it wasn't enough to follow terrain so they just abruptly and suddenly angled down. Path slopes all over the place so not comfortable to walk on. Concrete on half of the walkway must have hardened on them and not smoothed out. No edging work done to sidewalk just rough edges and cracking. Whomever on his crew did expansion joints pushed so hard on trowel they left 1/4"-1/2" groves that you trip on. They also left half of the forms for me to remove when they said they removed them all. Left multiple messages for him with no response. Another contractor that once they have their money they're ghosts. No pride in workmanship.
