Had a great time here! We went for lunch after going on a local bike tour. It was conveniently located! They had a huge covered outdoor space that was beautiful but we sat inside. You definitely want to stop at Sullivan's! Whether it's for a beer, snack, or to listen to music... you'll be happy you came here. There's indoor seating, a patio, and on the patio there's cute little houses to sit in if you want a more intimate setting or if you want to hide your kids in them. The food was delicious we had cheese fries one night and pizza another. We ate here twice as we were staying in the loft on the property but highly recommend!! read more

It's a good idea to book in advance as they don't sell takeaway! Megan, Alex, and Dylan ensured we had a great impression by providing us with tips, suggestions, and great service. They were super friendly and made us feel welcomed! We also had pizza and buffalo wings, which turned out to be a tasty culinary experience. The open area is clean and we felt safe during these challenging times. Other staff were not as friendly as they were and we felt some members of staff were a bit sloppy and unaware of the booking place. As the website booking was complicated and we found out later to be inaccurate, we wanted to know the possibility of getting a place on the spot, however the first two staff members that we were in touch with said straight away that no tables were available even though there were some few tables free ! Luckily we spoke to Meghan who arranged us a table and gave me the opportunity to try one of the best beers I ever tried: Sullivans! The three types of beer are likewise awesome . We stopped at Sullivan's as part of our tour in Kilkenny. The staff (Kelly) was very knowledgeable about the ales offered and the history of the Sullivan family. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant and there were plenty of suveniers. read more

Love this place. They dont have a huge tap list, but the beers are all local and mostly their own. The pizza is cooked out back in a real wood burning brick oven that is attached to an outdoor covered beer garden. The pizza is thin crust and perfect as a personal pie. When we came in they were having a trivia night which was a lot of fun. read more

e dropped in for lunch and it was great! Sullivan's red ale is the best I've had in Ireland, bar none! We also had an Oyster Porter that was complex with a hint of vanilla WOW! The pizza was excellent and one couple split the meat pizza and we split the spicy pizza. The pickled jalapenos were crunchy, hot, and we'll pickled. They coupled well with the salami and pepper greens. The crust was chewy enough and cooked with just enough crunch. I will be back. read more

The decor amd atmosphere of the taproom is very welcoming and friendly; it is a great place to spend hours on end, relaxing next to loved ones as you use the free Wifi on their cozy couches. Went for drink Monday afternoon. Food look great and staff was friendly. Booked to come back that evening for 7.30pm to eat. Girl we were told would be our server never came near. Receptionist took our order when she was bring other people out.Service was very slow by 8.15pm. 2 pizza and chilli fries still hadn't arrived. Chilli on the fries was cold. 1 nice member of staff came and sorted everything, wasn't supposed to be our server but they are lucky to have her working there. Our server only turn up when we looked for bill. It was €45. Handed €50 but waited 10 minutes and she never came back with change. Food was good but service terrible except for one girl who was amazing and a pleasure to deal with. read more
