I bought a few things for my goddaughter here. This is a consignment/resale shop full of kids' clothing and toys. You'll find all sorts of great buys, and since the kiddos grow so quickly, it's worth popping in there to see how much money you can save, and it's a lot. Do not take anything to Summer Kids Resale Boutique in Bartlett. I took this like new crib bedding set to them late Friday 9-14. They had me sign a contract which I was not given a copy of--the store was busy, I was just told they would text me. I received a text at 5:42 that evening stating my offer was ready and do not reply. They are open 10 to 6 Monday-Saturday and closed on Sunday. I went back to the store on Tuesday, 10-18-I was told they could not buy it because it was stained. This bedding set was like new!!!!! It had not been used-baby did not sleep in her bed. I said okay where is my bedding -- then was told they donated it to Goodwill because they had not heard back from me. Again, I dropped it off Friday evening right before Closing--they are closed Sunday--I was back on Tuesday and my items had been donated!!!! read more

I always do resale and buy resale but never will I do business with this place again.. when u drop off the lady tells you she will text you when ready and she never does ... then when you call she doesn't answer the phone and forget leaving a message because she informed me that she don't listen to them. And they items she buys she offered 4 dollars for like 6 items and kept the rest of my items so if you want to take a chance with this place beware!!!! read more

Great consignment shop for children's clothing, toys, shoes, equipment and furniture. You never know what you are going to find in here. I'm always able to find really good deals on clothing for my kids in great condition, for way less than retail. For the length of time they wear it, why pay more! I dropped off some clothes and was called back the next day to come pick up. When I get there they tell me that they are going to pass because the clothes smelled like storage. My thinking is your going to wash them right. They smelled fine to me. Oh and the clothes were in the exact order I left them in. So took them to once upon a child and the took 47 items. And received a good amount for them. read more

Great place for used uniforms for SCS. Great selection of higher end clothing (Gap kids, Gymboree, abercromie, American Eagle kids, Talbots, etc). They sell new hair accessories and tights. Great place to buy clothing for children since they grow up so quickly. I will say I am not a fan of the southern smocked (Amish looking) dresses galore, but we are in Memphis. I do not recommend this consignment. I dropped my clothes of on Tuesdar and asked when it would be ready for pickup. I was told that I would be called. A week later o never received the call. I called them and was told they tried to calm me but it kept going to voicemail. One, they didn't leave a voicemail, two, they called the wrong number. Three, I've sold there before soy info was in the system, including my email address which they have be they emailed me, which is the reason I took my belongings in there. I go to pick up the things that they declined and they don't have the things that they accepted bc they have been put out on the floor. Lastly, I had a $19 credit from a while back. It's gone also bc it expires in one year. If you do sell to them....cash only! I will NOT be doing any more business with them! read more

Came here with my sister & niece.....quality of clothing was good and (according to my sister) they pay better than Once Upon a Child.

I had a substantial amount in credit at this store which the clerk delighted in denying my using today. As a small business, you rely on good customer service, and I don't know if my credit had expired or not because you did not tell me the expiration date. If you recall, the basic tenets of Christianity are about helping others, which you seemed almost giddy about not doing today. Your customer service is atrocious. But you helped me teach my kids a very valuable lesson about helping others - when you have the opportunity to help someone else, you should always do it. read more

As with several other reviews that I unfortunately did not read until after my experience, they basically stole my items. I dropped off a large box of all brand new boutique items, on Tuesday 3/26/19, signed their contract as I listened with faith & trust to the owner tell me "you can come back tomorrow for your offer" I returned a little more than 24 hours later on Wednesday 3/27/19, she has my things in a basket on the shelf behind her and says "oh, you have to wait for the text", I smile and thank her and stupidly left. I waited the remainder of the week without having received a text and returned to her store on Monday, 4/1/19 to check on things. There were other customers so I browsed and shopped while waiting to speak with her. As I was browsing I saw several of my items sitting on the shelves for sale. When I went to the register to ask about my offer she pulled my contract and offered me $25 cash or $31 credit for well over $400 worth of brand new boutique car seat covers, nursing covers, gowns, mobi wrap, Sophie the giraffe teethers, etc. when I asked for my things back rather than accepting the ridiculous offer, I was told that I couldn't have them because I had waited too long and per the contract I had agreed to this. She claims to have sent me a text, which low and behold, I never received, she blames it on spam filters or settings on my phone. Funny how I receive everything else, but not their text. This store is operating on a scam mentality and I hope that she goes out of business for poor business practices. I repeatedly asked for my items back and told her they were sitting all around the store and that I had pictures of everything that I had dropped off. I was then told to leave the store before she called the police. This is the worst excuse for customer service. She is staying in business by operating like a donation center and receiving her products at no cost. As I was directed to leave of course no money was handed to me. If i could give this place a negative star i would. I have tried to consign here 3-4 times and items that were new were rejected and some of the items they wanted they will give you bottom dollar for which are in alot better condition. i will be taking my business else where even if i have to drive it back to ky when i go to my parents at least their i will get better deals. read more

They have cute clothes,for cheep when you're child's not going to weather them long so why spend a fortune on them.However the customer service SUX! They are never friendly non of the times I've ben there,actually I was in there last week and they were to buzy talking about how gateway homeschooling was "not a real diploma " and that no college would take that seriously. And talking bad about mexican and black people. I was quite offended, so I didn't even buy anything. I put all the stuff back on the racks,and left. Took some nice, clean, pressed top brand name clothes to this store for consignment/re-sale. The process for Summer Kids is that you bring the items in and leave them there over night for 2 inspections. After having to make a second trip. They only offered me( $9 dollars or $13 dollars as an in-store credit)for about 17 items that they selected. I declined the offer. I took the same items to "Once Upon a Child" and was offered $32.00 and got my money the same day. I don't understand Summer Kids eye for nice, clean top name brand clothing. In their store the boys clothes are dingy and looks very loved by previous owners and no real brand names. The shoes are not clean with dried mud. I tried to support local business but the customer service at this local own store is poor. I went to this store 5 years ago and was not please with the service I receive then. But when I found out they moved to another location I thought the service would be better. I should have followed my first mind and stick with what I know. I wish I could give this place negative stars. I had the worst customer service interaction with the owner. The owner was argumentative and confrontational. She attempted to bully me into accepting her offer for my used children's clothes. She said "don't you know how much time and effort went into appraising your clothes and you are going to be rude now and not accept the offer." It was crazy for a children's clothes consignment shop.
