The course wasn't in great shape, the tee boxes were terrible but it is an excellent golf course for a tournament with average or novice golfers. We were the lead off team and finished in 3 hours 40 minutes. The lunch afterwards was very well organized. Feeding us all promptly. Beginner golfers? Great place to learn. It was a traditional Srilankan wedding and the hall was decorated tastefully reflecting the occasion. The silver mandap and Shiva Parvati statues were elegant. When the event started, they turned from silver into a delicate golden hue. I think it was done with the carefully arranged focus lighting around it. The chairs and tables fit the ambiance. The large chandeliers throughout the place were gorgeous. The bride's room was upstairs. It was small with an attached bathroom. It serves the purpose. It is a large place to hold a little over a hundred people comfortably around large tables. Maybe a couple more hundred for a corporate meeting depending on the seating arrangements. There was another wedding at the same time next door in the centre. There was a bit of confusion among the guests. Other than that, I didn't notice any inconveniences. The lunch was served outside the event hall and it was a big enough area to fit guests.

The service was so slow they were behind in everything My guests never got to try my wedding cake which I still have frozen taking up all the space in my freezer, not to mention almost missed my dance with my father aswell cause it ran so late. They told us we would more the likely get refund for unconsumed alcohol, so we contacted him regarding a refund and complained he the owner Johnny requested a meeting to discuss this. When we tried to have a meeting with the owner Johnny he postponed it 3 times and finally when we said enough was enough and had the meeting he basically didn't believe anything, called us liars and then screamed at me and my mother in law. PGC is a farmer's field course, located next to the auction house barn off Brock Rd. The city has…read morerecently sold off the back 9 of this course and it's now a 9 hole course, part of the east GTA Bruce's Golf Reward program. It's $25 including a cart which makes for fantastic value. The condition of the course was decent. I'm not a big fan of the layout as the pathways cross back and forth which causes for quite a bit of traffic on a few holes. Be careful where you park your car as the parking lot is only a few yards from hole #2's green! The set up on Hole #5, a 140ish par 3 over a valley, leaves only 5 yards to a low fence at the back of the green. Some folks are just plopping it over the fence to get a free lift. I tried to play it legit, but topped my ball into the valley, then pitching blind over the hill and over the fence anyways. Bah! Hole #8 is ridiculous. You have to carry 202 over a wide and sunken bunker on a par 3 where the clearing to the green is maybe 30 yards wide surrounded by forest. If you can't hit a ball long and straight, you're going to lose a few balls. I decided to take a 3 iron into the bunker and then try and blast out. Unless I'm getting a lot of wind, I'm not sure how I'd carry over the bunker and land on the green or drive the green with a wood and not roll through. Not the prettiest or fanciest place, but it's cheap and adequate. Hmmm kinda like my last date.

It's also easily the best value you're going to find. For a little over $20, I paid much more for farmer field type courses. Everything was just so lush!! There were lots of ball marks on the greens, but that's probably due to the amount of newbs this place would attract not fixing their marks. But even then, it's still in pretty good shape. We were playing sandwhiched between two groups of seniors, and they all did it happily. There are no powered carts and only pulls, but you really don't need it. It's a fairly flat course except for the first and last holes. Plus its a very lovely stroll through the park. With all the naturally lined trees, this place will be gorgeous in the fall, and I can't wait to go back.
