I called Summit Compute Systems about 9:30 AM Monday morning and stated my software problem. They said they had a person in Richmond already and he could come by before leaving town - the technician got to our house around noon and had the problem fixed and was on his way in about 30 minutes. Everything works fine and he was very courteous and thanked me for calling Summit. I bought a new Dell desktop computer back in March 2026 from Summit and I am very happy with the computer and their service to deliver and hook it up to my existing printer and scanner. The charges for Technical service and travel for equipment I bought less than a year are exorbitant. I strongly feel that charging 80 dollars for gas and 80 dollars for issues regarding recent equipment I bought during the warranty period is really taking advantage of my business. read more
