His communication skills are excellent and the quality of his work is excellent as well. He goes above and beyond what's expected and needed. Even though my brother is developmentally disabled, he's able to live independently with help from me. This is quite a task since I live 2600 miles away from him. My brother recently had a flood in his kitchen from a broken dishwasher that leaked into the condo downstairs from him. I called John Uken (JP Contracting) to fix the damaged cabinet and flooring beneath the sink, work with the granite vendor to replace the kitchen countertops, install new sink, and replace and install new dishwasher. John emailed and texted me the job invoice and was in constant communication with me and my brother. John treated my brother with respect and dignity and was able to schedule the repairs in a timely basis. He texted me photos of the work he did as well as the completed job. The antique prestige vinyl and white trim really make the house much brighter and great looking. The work crews arrived on time, were very polite, spent 8 days on the job, and cleaned up the work site very well.
