Good cleaning, but sketchy admin. We've been using Summit for our primary home the last few months. The crews bill hourly, and since my wife and I work from home we are there to let the crew in and wave them goodbye. The cleanings are good, no qualms there, but the surprise is always in the invoice. It's pretty common to receive an invoice with inflated hours, and if I hadn't been checking the invoices against their actual times worked, I estimate I would have paid over $1,200 more since inception. Generally it takes about an hour and a half to clean our home, so if I get an invoice for 2 hours, I just pass it through, because they deserve it. They work hard, and we have somewhat of a relationship at this point. Often, however, I receive an invoice for much higher hours (3+) than was actually worked, and I'm spending my time emailing with the admin team. It's a pleasant surprise when the invoice actually reflects the hours worked. To illustrate my point, one occasion they were here for an hour and 34 minutes, and I received an invoice for 5 hours of labor. Another time I received a 3 hour invoice on an hour and 15 minutes of labor. Yet another time I received a 4.5 hour invoice on 1 hour of labor. The team always corrects them when I bring it up, but if it was a rental and I had no way to confirm, I would have well overpaid. In those 3 examples, I would have overpaid by about $850. I would not recommend Summit if I was a savvy rental owner and cared about my margins. In my experience, it's likely you will pay more than was actually worked (sometimes a lot more). The cleanings are good quality, so I am happy with using them for my primary home. As an aside, generally when I use cleaners for rental properties, I go with a service that charges a fixed cost based on the attributes of the home (square footage, number of beds and baths, etc.) read more

HORRIBLE experience. 10/10 would not recommend. Extremely unreliable for vacation rental cleanings. We used Summit for 1 winter season for our vacation rental in Breck that has high turnover. At first we satisfied with their work. Our condo was clean enough and they communicated well. Then one day they didn't show up and our guest arrived to a dirty home that hadn't been cleaned yet. We had to give our guest a night free and $200 for dinner while the condo was cleaned. Summit tried to blame it on us but we were able to send them the confirmation of the cleaning booked. We let it slide and continued using them. Then 2 cleanings later they missed another cleaning, which we had booked in their system. They blamed it on technical errors with their booking software. We were livid and asked to speak to management but never had anybody reach out. We gave our guest money back and money for dinner while the place got cleaned. This proceeded to happen two more times. So FOUR total cleanings they DID NOT SHOW UP and cost us at least $1500. To top it all off, one of their cleaners stole our brand new vacation and left an old vacuum in its place. read more

I requested 3 cleaners for a construction clean. 2 showed up. Communication was very difficult as their english was not very good for giving details. They did a very adequate to poor job on the upper level. They were then running short on time ( there ride came at 5 and they were far from finished so they rushed through everything) and the lower 2 levels were awful. Floors not mobbed and very limited dusting (which was the main reason they were hired) They also broke without telling me a 150 year old piece of china. I have tried to contact the company but if you are an existing customer they only deal wit you online. They promised 10% off as a new customer. That was not reflected in the final invoice. Like all of these sevices, it depends on who they hire. You may get someone good, or someone bad. I got the bad, not trained, not supply equipped people. We checked into our unit Friday for a week. The sheets are not matching, they are different colors, the bottom sheets are flat (not fitted) are not the right size, large (flat) sheets are used on twin & queen beds. They appear to be worn, thinning and I question whether they are even washed. I called Summit Monday morning, the Voice Mail stated "Due to Covid, we return calls within 24 hours." It is now Wednesday 48 hours later and I have not heard from anyone. The towels are the same, not matching, old, rough etc. We use the unit fairly regularly, according to the management company, this is a new cleaning service for our units. We recently transitioning to Summit Executive Cleaning after reading the great reviews for cleanings for our vacation rental. Unfortunately we had the exact opposite experience. We booked our cleanings online several days in advance and confirmed the cleanings would be complete, each time we selected the time slot of 10-12, to ensure the cleaning would be completed by check in at 4:00. 3 times, over a 2 month period the team did not show up until after check in time (4:00), they were so rushed they cut corners, including not changing the linens. The office staff reported staffing issues and they could not uphold the bookings they committed to. It was a terrible situation, as we had to explain to our guests that the unit was not cleaned for their check in. If you are a short term vacation owner please steer clear of this company. We requested a call from the owner 3 times and never heard back. read more
