I rarely go to this Whole Foods because I never liked the staff…read more But I was in the neighborhood and strapped for time so I did my weekly shopping here. It was pretty empty and I got a carriage full of food quickly. First compliant -- Young guy working in the store, pushing a cart around, almost hit me. He didn't say excuse me ... No, I did. I apologized to myself on his behalf. LOL! Second complaint -- Nasty cashier. There was NO ONE at Cashier #3, so I approached. The woman let out a sigh. I said, "Oh, you're busy" (she wasn't) and I went to go somewhere else. She insisted I go there, yet the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. THEN the lady behind me, the cashier was very pleasant too. I think that qualifies as being rude and judging someone without knowing them? I think so. WEIRDO. Third complaint -- The green onions were rancid! The color did look off, and I tasted them -- disgusting! I can't stand this store. It's a waste of a beautiful store because the workers here are obviously incompetent. They can't get rid of groceries that are bad. No one here likes to work. This is the worst Whole Foods in the state of New Jersey. Gross!

The best cakes here are the tiramisu and the tres leches. They do have cheaper than average organic milk (but check the expiry dates) and they have a good food bar (mac & cheese and the wings are a good choice usually, and the curry usually smells delicious) but at $12/lb, it can be expensive if you aren't careful.

We split the turkey and Brie sandwich with fig jam. Sandwich is big enough to share. I was comfortably full when finished. We enjoyed looking at the crackers and condiments available while we waited. Will try another sandwich.

This should be zero stars because I had zero experience. Check out my review of the cheese shop…read moreinside the Wine List. Also in Summit. About 2 -3 blocks away. Always wanted to try this place. Thought might buy some cheese and a sandwich. Walked in. Woman at the counter. Asking about cheese. Lot of questions. Got the impression she's making a cheese board. No Acknowledgment from guy behind counter. Walked around store. Not going to describe it. Not going to describe what else they had. 5 minutes, 10 minutes. No acknowledgement. No we will be right with you. No we won't be right with you because clearly we are going to only pay attention to this woman for the next 29 minutes as she decides what kind of cheeses she wants for her cheeseboard. Finally walked out. Got pizza at SQR PIZZA boy they make good pizza. Stopped at The Wine List. They have a cheese shop. Boy they were helpful and friendly. Knowledgeable. Gave me some samples. Back rub. (Okay no back rub). Highly recommend. Read my review. 5 stars. Could have gone like this. Hi sir welcome to the Summit Cheese shop how are you? Oh I'm fine thank you, yourself?
