I was impressed by their professionalism and teamwork (by a crew of four, utilizing built-in radios in their helmets for communications). They did an excellent job cleaning the slash and stacking logs to be processed for firewood. They showed up on time and completed the job in four hours, including a trip back to their shop to bring in a tracked excavator. I've worked with two other tree service companies and Wilcox is by far a "monadnock" by comparison, both in terms of performance and cost. Wilcox will be my "go-to" company for all future tree work! The driver called it his 'sod peeler' and that's a direct quote. And they won't fix it come spring either. Too dangerous to mow safely because of the rocks & gravel in the yard along with the aforementioned sod. Not to mention the curb appeal. It wasn't a busy winter for plowing either. Only needed them a couple of times but it only took a couple storms for them to destroy the yard & driveway. I wouldn't recommend them if they were the only place in town.
