Myra Canyon Trail is a scenic portion of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR). KVR was built by hand,…read moreopened in 1915 and decommissioned in 1964. Myra Canyon Trails offers spectacular views of the canyon, 2 tunnels and 18 trestle bridges. You can ride a bike or hike this easy & flat 24km trail. My friends and I decided to bike this section and I was the only one who didn't own a bike. Myra Canyon Bicycle Rental & Tours (MCBRT) was recommended by another friend who had rented from them. From beginning to end, my communication with MCBRT was great. My email inquiry was answered within a day and they were accommodating to my needs. Upon arrival, I whizzed through the line as I completed everything on-line and then given a quick overview & test of the bike. When I finished the bike ride, I just follow the signs to where to return the bike and helmet. I would certainly rental from them again as their bikes are well maintained. Tips: MCBRT is located at the Myra Station parking lot. The road up to the parking lot is bumpy and on a gravel road. Our car made it up in 20 minutes once off road with no problems so just go slowly on big turns. Myra Canyon Bike Rentals offers 2 bike rental times: morning (9am-1pm) and afternoon (1:30pm-5:30pm) and easy to book on their website. I couldn't be there at these start times but they accommodated me. Bring snacks and lots of water. We bought sandwiches and stopped for lunch at one of the many viewpoints to enjoy. No water fountains or concession stands on the trail. Bathroom breaks: there are 3 outhouses along the trail. The first one is at Myra Station parking lot. Take your time: the trail can be completed relatively quickly but where we lose the time is stopping for photos for and with the canyons, trestles and tunnels. We could easily spend 4 hours on the trail.

When she got it back the tire/ rim was better, but now it's making a loud clonking noise when peddling. So she took it back. all they had to say was she improperly loaded it on her bike rack or loaded it in the back of the truck wrong to create this problem this is a bunch of BS. This shop is not wanting to take accountability for the work that they did or didn't do? And saying that it's a cheap bike and it's just the way it is, but when she took it in there, we never had this problem before they're not owning their mistakes, they're blaming her. And with other conversations, they're like you probably like the bike because it's pink. The color has nothing to do with the bike. They're just taking advantage of her. The bike stopped working…read moreafter 3 months and it's been hell to get them to remedy it. very unprofessional staff, mechanics have 0 idea what they are doing and lie, female staff members have attitude and refuse to let you speak with a manager. this company needs to be investigated and shut down. I'm a disabled veteran they are asking me to package a 300 plus pound bike then pay out of pocket for shipping cost that I won't get back to get the bike to them for a refund that's going to be half the price of the bike so I' m paying half the cost of the defective bike for the 3 months that I used it I guess. Put a lowering link on my motorbike and needed kickstand cut and lowered. Vernon Motorsports…read moredecided to cut it so that it would work for the bike lowered or if link was ever removed for that height too, this is what I was told after work was completed. They did not give me the choice to decide if I would buy a different kickstand if the link was ever removed. Fast forward the position they chose for the height made for a very unstable bike if I didn't find the proper ground when going to get off my bike. I took my bike to a dealership in Alberta well on holidays and was informed my kickstand was dangerous by this time I was well aware it was dangerous so upon coming home I called Vernon Motorsports to make a arrangements for them to correct the issue this dealership said come on in we will make it right, When my boyfriend brought the bike in he wanted to be sure that this was not going to cost, he was then informed it was going to cost two hours labor so 300$ for a job they did wrong in the first place. I believe this dealership did not ask me My preference upon doing the job the first time and now wasn't going to stand behind their work. Person I spoke to And had it made arrangements to bring my bike in had assured me that this would be made right, and was certain I wouldn't be charged.
