Beware of doing business with sunpro tinting. Bob is all about getting your money. We had his company tint26 of our home windows. One of the windows was scratched during the install. When we contacted SunPro, they never would call us back. Three weeks went by and we followed up with them. Bob pretty much blew us off and wouldn't even come out to take a look at the window without us paying him an additional $240. We were going to tint the rest of the windows in our home, but we won't be doing business with this company. read more

Family & Friends, As most of you know I was broken into at my house and robbed AGAIN! This is the second time I have been robbed in Houston, Texas and both times they went through the glass in my door and they were in and out in under 10 mins. Thank GOD no one was home and I feel they actually watch streets until people leave. They do not care/fear if you have an alarm or cameras because they are in and out way faster than any cops can show up. I have talked to the cops both times during my robberies and they tell me that they do not even show up to alarm calls from alarm companies because they would spend all day on false alarms. The goal is to make your house so annoying that they will not bother with your home and just move on to the next one. I assure you that if you have this protection film and when they see that your glass is not going to break easy for a quick smash and grab they will run away and move on to the next house. I have done a bunch of research on this security film for your home glass and I decided that the security of my home and family was worth every penny. The cost to install this glass was so minimal compare to the total cost of what they took from me both times. You all know me well and know that I got several bids and really went with who I thought had the best product and most reliable, along with cost. Installation was quick, easy and very clean. I want to recommend everyone I know to do this to their own home... I promise you that if you have never been robbed there is no worse feeling. read more

I hired Bob at Sun Pro to put tinting on my windows to take care of a harsh glare that came through the windows. He told me to go with the darkest tinting-- that NO ONE REGRETS THE DARK TINTING. When the tinting was put on it turned my room into a cave. Not only did it turn the room into a cave, it didn't take care of the glare! When I told him that, he said it would cost me to remove the tinting--$375. After reading other reviews on Google and Yelp, it seems like other customers went through this same experience-- the darkest tinting makes a house feel like a cave. He could have warned me about that. This whole experience is a waste of money. I'm really disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience with Sun Pro. read more

Was very impressed with Sun Pro. Bob did a great job at coming out and explaining the film options. His price was by far the most competitive of any other dealer in town. The most impressive part was his installer Mentor. Mentor did a great job of installing the tint and never seemed to rush the job. He was very precise at his cuts and installation. Would highly recommend him as your installer if you choose to go with Sun Pro. read more

Beware of doing business with Sunpro. They use dishonest sales tactics, and are unconcerned about customer satisfaction. In my case, Bob, the owner, who is a slick salesman, told me I needed window film on my low E Smart Sun double paned windows to guard against UV sun damage to my floors and furnishings as well as to reduce heat. What he didn't tell me was that putting the film on these windows would void the manufacturer's warranty, and was totally unnecessary, as this type of window already has UV and heat protection superior to that of window tint film. Unfortunately for me, I had only very recently moved into my home, and was unaware of my windows' characteristics or the manufacturer's warranty limitation. So I hired this company to tint some of the windows in my home. Within a few days of the windows being tinted, I was made aware of the fact I already had windows that provide UV and heat protection, and that applying film to these windows was not advised. I contacted Bob, who describes himself as an "industry leader", with my concerns. He told me he had no duty to inform me of my warranty being voided and refused to come to any sort of compromise with me. He told my husband that we are "f***ing crazy". We paid him in full, as we never want to have contact with Bob and his sleazy sales practices again. We certainly feel duped, and are looking for someone to remove the film from our windows. I would have given no stars had I been allowed to do so. read more

We had tinting done to our windows 2 years ago with an extensive warranty. We were told by the salesman that in the event it needed to be replaced they would come out and remove and replace it. In the event the window needed replacement, they would remove and reinstall after the new window was installed. I called and they said to "email a photo of the window" and stated- without seeing the window or photo- that is was probably a broken seal on the window. I emailed a photo and requested someone come out to look at the window, no response. The install and the technicians were great. However, once you have this installed don't expect any follow up. They promise the moon to sell their product but once installed forget about any service. read more
