As a plus, our puppy scratched off a few speckles of paint off of the front door when my wife went outside for 3 minutes to move the car. When he asked how bad the damage was and heard it was just superficial, he thanked us very genuinely for letting him know instead of slipping out without mentioning it and said there'd be no extra charge for the damage.
