I purchased 2 spray tans for $60. I was told I had 60 days to use them. I used one the day I purchased them. I stopped in on day 60 to use the other. I was told it was day 61 and they refused to let me use it. Apparently they counted the purchase date as day 1 and not the next day as day 1. They weren't nice about it, the 2 girls were snarky and were just like too bad. Didn't even offer a discount or even to purchase another. They just stared at me. And they do not answer the phone. As in, literally don't. The message tells you that you have to come in to talk to someone. Terrible service read more

I think this store has gone down hill I'm not sure if they moved employees around but the old crew was awesome. I have been going to this location for years Never had a problem. I live 45 mins away so its not like this is in my back yard regardless I made that drive until this last visit the spray tan didn't spray on half of my body it was more then obvious. I bought a package a spray tan with sunless lotion and spray for around 60 something dollars. The problem was when I went o do my spray tan it just cut off in the middle of the sprays the right side of my body was sprayed only I'm not sure if it was clogged or what I have never had this happen when I got out the lady immediately was apologizing telling me she was so sorry she could definitely tell spray had not sprayed but she was being rushed to close up asked if I could use the spray I bought to fix the color and she make it up to me and make sure I call and tell management , well I learned you cant call to my knowledge there is nobody to call its all recordings. I was upset I had to use the bottle I bought have someone spray the back of me using the hole can but I didn't have many options ....I tried all week to be connected to a live person with no luck I go back in to to a young girl I think named Brittany ..I think is her name, I think ? not the same girl that night this girl was rude from the start she looked high giggled at things not funny at all , when you say You had to use a 60 dollar bottle of spray to fix a tan after coming out of your spray booth I didn't see a giggle moment maybe its just me , I ignored the behavior and tried to explain she literately tells me she could care less about the machine messing up and weather I decide to come back, I could understand if I was being rude or something but I wasn't. I hate that the old crew isn't there and never until then have I had a spray mess up on me. I don't know what is going on there but I have talked to so many ppl that are not going to that location now I CAN SEE WHY!!! The girl that was there the first night working was a doll she was nice but on edge I can see bullying maybe even how the second girl acted that way. I know that ppl are actually driving past that location to go to another location, I haven't been back and I CONSTANTLY would talk me and a group of ppl to go but never did I hear back from management reimbursed for me paying for a bottle to fix there machines mistake I can go local place and get better customer service when you have your staff going out of there way to run off customers that's a reflection on bad management the girl acts like losing one person doesn't hurt a lot of one persons add up read more

I told the ladies at the desk that I wanted just a base tan and only wanted to come for ONE month before vacation. I got charged another $110 and they won't refund it. Pisses me off!!!! They make it difficult to get any customer service help, when I finally did they wouldn't give me a refund. Never go there again. read more

I've been coming to this location for years. It is definitely not the most friendly location, but I just come in to spray and leave. Once I bought a 5.00 tan special and I bought it for the bed instead of the spray and the girl just flicked a card and told me to call corporate to fix it. I thought it was so weird that she didn't call. I'm perfectly capable but haven't been in that situation before. The front desk area is always pretty clean as well. It's hit or miss here honestly. You do get a "mean girl" vibe at this location. I've never experienced this at other locations. read more

The manager of this location is absolutely RUDE!! I signed up and wasn't able to tan right then. I came back that night to tan and my account was locked for some reason. Told me to call Corp and find out why and told me to leave. She never tried to help me find out why or call Corp on her own, nothing at all. 2 weeks later I still have not received a refund of $221 nor have I been able to get a hold of Corp! I am so mad and wished there was another place in town to tan at! I would be so happy to give them my money!!! STAY AWAY FROM SUNTAN CITY!!! read more

I've never left a review but I feel as if something needs to be said. The customer service is absolutely terrible. The two blonde girls that work on Friday nights have the worst attitudes of anyone I have met in a very long time. They are rude every single time I come in and maybe it's because I don't fit the tanning bed stereotype or some other reason, but it makes for a terrible time and experience coming here. Absolutely love all of the other staff but these two really need to be a little friendlier. read more

I asked for a dark clear sunless solution, and the employee put it in as dark tinted. I came out looking like an absolute splotchy mess, most likely because the machine has not been cleaned properly. The employee did not once apologize for her mistake, and barely offered any solution to the problem besides telling me to wipe off my hands. Now I'm orange and streaky. read more

No other tanning companies even compare to Sun Tan City. The prices seem high until you look at the beds which are insanely nice and get you great color faster than any other rinky dink salon could. The instant bed is my favorite. And the Norvell spray tans are so amazing At this specific location, the girls who work there are always so nice I almost feel like I'm friends with them. I had been wanting to start tanning in preparation for the summer for a while now; since I work full time and daytime hours its impossible to get a good tan in the natural sun.
