It's so much easier to manage customer expectations with a proper inventory count so orders don't get placed and there's not enough to fulfill orders. Instead of simply saying "I won't be able to tell you the exact price of the contacts until after your exam" she spoke for 10 minutes without eye contact. Also used derogatory language very loosely to her coworker who was incredibly rude to me and another customer. Gave me a dirty look when I returned the tablet to the front like I was told to do and said "she'll call you up when she's ready" but with a nasty tone, so I backed up from the counter and she said "sit down" and so I sat down and then was immediately called to stand back up. Just seemed like someone who wants to bully people for no reason. Then when speaking to another elderly customer without making eye-contact, the elderly customer didn't hear her so she literally shouted the question again with a nasty tone. Just shouldn't work in a customer facing role at all. Very uncomfortable. Won't be back. But it got the job done and had very open availability so whatever.
