My son has attended the summer camp for the last couple of years in the summer and he always looks forward to going.

We do not recommend this place. The summer programs are way too expensive. The teachers are rude and disrespectful. They don't try to talk to you as a teacher to a parent, no they think it's okay to come at you sideways. I work myself to the bone to pay for childcare, which helps pay their paycheck. They forget that part. They wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for the parents. The prices are continuing to get way too expensive. They are still going up constantly but yet the service is still declining. read more

We've been taking our boys to the Bridge since our oldest was 6 months old and he's four now! We love not having to worry about their care while we are at work. They both learn so much and we are so grateful to their teachers and staff. We have particularly been impressed with the flexibility and effort put into making it all work during Covid. read more

I switched to The Bridge from another daycare because it was closer to home and I was impressed by its nutritious menu. I came in with high hopes and left three weeks later extremely disappointed. In that brief time, I witnessed illegal practices, several potential serious hazards, and for the first time in my daycare experience, I had serious worries about my child being neglected. I quickly realized that the Bridge was not for me. My child was the sixteenth toddler in the one-year-old room, which is the exact legal limit for that age (despite the fact that the Bridge claims to maintain low child to teacher ratios). There were so many kids that there were no cubbies available for my child's diapers, and my child came home the first two days with caked-on poo and developed terrible diaper rash (problems we'd never had before while in daycare). The door to the one-year-old room was broken and the children were escaping from the room; to solve this, they barricaded the door with a table (such a fire hazard!). At the end of the first week, I asked to have my child removed from the daycare. The directing staff pleaded with me to reconsider and stay for another week, promising things would get better. When I declined this offer, their tone immediately changed and they cited the contract I had signed requiring two weeks' notice. I acquiesced, hoping things would get better within those last two weeks. The second week I came in at naptime and saw my child had been given sheets with a half-dollar-sized hole in them. I had been told that each child would receive his or her own sheets for the week to avoid spreading germs, but this didn't seem to be the case in practice. At the beginning of our third (and final) week, I came to pick my child up and noticed that the classroom seemed particularly chaotic. I counted and there were 17 children to 2 caregivers, which is a violation of state law. The director, as always, claimed ignorance of the situation. I never brought my child there again, despite having been forced to prepay for days I would never use. The Bridge refused to refund any of my money. read more

My son attended The Bridge Learning Center in Carrollton, GA for exactly 1 year. When I visited The Bridge prior to enrolling, they advertised "lower than state ratios"in their classrooms. Shortly after I enrolled him at 3 months old, the 6 week to 6 month old infant room went from the advertised 5 infants, to 14. The room did not have enough individual beds for all of the infants and did not have the appropriate square footage in the room to have 14 children. After complaining for an extended amount of time, the room was finally split into multiple age groups. He moved up to the next room, the 6 month to 12 month room. In February of 2013 when he was 9 months old I visited him on my lunch break to discover he had a random object in his mouth that he could have choked on. It was determined to be a piece of a mop. After discussing with the assistant director, she said she believed it came from the bedding for the cribs because the mop heads were washed with the dirty laundry. I took a photo of the object, filed a complaint with Bright From The Start, an investigation was conducted and the facility was cited for not meeting the supervision rule. On 6/20/13, my son was bitten at daycare for the first time. I did not take a photo, or discuss with director/staff because it was the first time and I didn't feel like it was going to be an ongoing issue. It happened again on 6/28, at which point I spoke to the Director and asked to see the surveillance video footage. When watching, we determined the staff in his room were not supervising the children. One was cleaning, and the other was arranging mats for nap time. She said she agreed they were not properly supervising and that she would add a 3rd staff member during transition times or times that the staff were busy taking on extra tasks which may distract them from properly supervising, such as diapering. She also said they may need to change their feeding schedule or buy more toys if toys were causing the argument. My son was bitten again on 7/26, the incident report said they were able to stop the other child from actually biting him and that there was not an indention in his skin. Later that day, he had visible teeth marks on his forearm, which I have photographs of. He was bitten again, 7/29. I asked the director of the facility to show me the video of both the 7/26 incident and 7/29 incident. For the 7/26 incident, one staff was talking to a parent and the other was not supervising children. For the 7/29 incident, one staff was diapering a child and the other was picking up toys (not supervising the children that were playing). Neither video had a 3rd staff person in it like she previously mentioned. On 7/29, I had an extensive conversation with the director about why this happened 4 times in a month's time. She agreed her staff were not properly supervising the children. She said she may need to change staff in the room or split the children up into 2 separate rooms. She mentioned again that they might need to buy more toys if the children were fighting over toys. She stated she was going to ask her "director of operations" as well as her state representative from Bright From The Start for feedback on biting and tips to improve the # of incidents. I told her I already reached out to the state and there is no policy in place for "biting". I asked her to provide written documentation of her plan of improvement to me that day and she confirmed she would. I also asked for the # of times a biting incident had occurred in that room since 6/20 and how many repeated offenses the biters involved in my son's incidents had. She confirmed via email she would provide this information when I picked my son up on 7/30. When I came to pick him up, I went into the office and she said they made the decision to dismiss my son from the daycare. Her reasoning for the dismissal was because I had not given them time to improve the situation and because I posted photos of the bites on my personal Facebook page. This of course was after 5-10 employees who work there proactively found me online and added me as a friend on their own free will. read more

I have 3 children who all attend The Bridge Learning Center. My youngest just turned 1 and has been coming since she was 6 weeks old. She loves her teachers and they are so good at communicating with me about how her day goes and I love the KidReports system that sends me texts/emails about her daily activities, diapering, and feeding habits each day. My oldest daughter is 3 and she talks about school and her friends all the time! She leaves me in the mornings to go see her teachers and tells me they are her BEST FRIENDS. :) She comes home telling me about things she has done or learned and I am just so impressed by how easily she goes to them each day. (She is a VERY attached Mama's girl) My son is school aged so he just comes on school breaks and during the summer but absolutely LOVES it! He attended Pre-K there a couple years ago and now that he is in 1st grade he still asks me most days if he is going to The Bridge soon to see his friends. I can't say enough about how awesome this center is but I will say that you should try them out for yourselves. You won't be disappointed!! read more

I have twin two year olds. They love their teacher Ms. Ashley!! Everyday I drop them off I know they are in good hands. This was their first daycare experience and I'm so glad that they love it! I wouldn't take my children anywhere else! read more

We came to The Bridge after having disastrous luck with child care. We had used another day care in the Carrollton area along with several private babysitters. We were very skeptical about day cares in general and I was almost to the point of quitting my job to stay at home because we could not find anyone who we trusted. I quickly learned that The Bridge is not a day care, it is a school. My one year old daughter can count to ten, knows all of her colors, and communicates as well as a two year old. She is constantly coming home singing a new songs and dances. The teachers at The Bridge clearly care about my daughter's well-being and about her success as a student in their organization. I would highly recommend The Bridge to anyone who is considering day care in the Carrollton area. read more

We really love The Bridge. Our older son has been there almost 3 years and will be starting Pre-K there in a couple of weeks. Our baby just started this spring. The teachers are great and I love that they get some structure and a curriculum, not just "babysitting" and no TV! My calls with questions or concerns are always welcome. The BLC Carrollton, Ga continues to meet our expectations and ensure that my daughter as well has other kids will be taken care of. The BLC directors & teachers are open for suggestions and address any concerns that may come up. I really enjoy seeing my 2yr old daughter class/art work and hearing about her excelling at the BLC. She can count to 20, say her ABC's, recognize her name, sing all different type of nursery rhymes, and recite the "Brown Bear Brown Bear What do you see" Books. read more
