Another time, she no showed an appointment and again, never did answer her phone that day either. She gaslights situations then says "sorry you're so sensitive, or sorry you feel that way." There are good people, but if you get the one I got, it was awful. The worst part was that I had to deal with her constant phone tag games when I was recovering from surgery and only had one arm that worked. My writing arm/and hand was paralyzed. That's when the Seminole case worker was the worst to me.

They are giving end-of-life patients Tylenol for their pain instead of morphine. It happened to our family member, a U. S. Air Force veteran, and it was nothing short of traumatizing to have to see him suffering like this. We were lucky enough to have been able to get him out of there as soon as we noticed the horrible neglect. He died peacefully and pain free at home with the help of home health care and a hospice nurse. Now Sienna Extended Care is dragging their feet to refund us the money for almost three months of pre-paid care fees ($18,000) which they insisted on having paid to them before they would even see the patient. We are grieving over the fact that we wish we had known earlier and didn't rely on "professionals" who told us that this was a reputable facility. Please do your research before entrusting your vulnerable loved ones to just anyone.

My mother went to this nursing home on Eve of May 23rd, 2026 and died on June 10th. Under the care…read moreof this nursing home she suffered. I live in Kansas and was helpless. Never leave someone at a nursing facility that family cant check on. It was horrendous and I was working hard at finding her a place in Kansas from day 1. Her text messages came in daily and often and I was so stressed and called them often trying to get her help. She begged me to get her out of there,. Day 1 1:00 am please get me out of here. I cant get help they laugh at me. Day 2 needs clothes on having trouble breath.ing I talked to admin about not getting help to toilet and getting her breathing treatments. There is a pregnant worker there who says she cant lift or help you poop in your pants and dont give me any shit or else. Another time you better cooperate..You eat and then maybe you can use toilet but I hurt and need to go. No Told she will get over it. Mother says they are really rough with her and threw her in the bed because they were upset with her. Her bottom is extremely sore. I call when she is begging me to get her help she needs to go poo. Told again not gooing to put you on toilet until you eat your breakfast. Keeps telling just poo in your pants. On the 30th she is freezing and has no clothes on. I call again they tell me well her light is not on but her light was on. I asked my mother and she said it was. My mother was told to not call me anymore and my mother tells me she is afraid to have me call she will get treated poorly for calling me. June 2nd she wants to call 911 because she hurting, I call and they said they would help her. Noone came and noone will answer the phone. I keep asking for pictures and a report on my mothers health and I never get it. June 4th I try to get her meds she has so much water weight on she is scared and she is nauseated badly and cant breath June 8th still no meds. Mom is telling me she is wishing she would die that this is humane. Im being told that she is difficult and not adjusting . She is begging for breathing treatment and help. Calls me she feels so sick to her stomach ..I call they say ok they will check. They dont and she never receives anything for nausea. She is dry heaving. I working hard with Topeka nursing homes to take her with her medicaid...its difficult. On the 8th I get report from Nurse she is going to get her meds. She still hasnt received help. June 8th get told she is getting moved to another room. Ok June 9th she is letting me know that she is not getting help and they are being mean she got slammed in the bed. All her little trinkets that were moved from her room were in her bed and they laid her on top of all the glass trinkets and other items she could hear broken glass and feel stuff in her bed. She couldnt get anyone to come. She didnt bother calling me on this night instead tells me in the morning. I call again and tell them she deserves extra care during the day please this is awful and I want a report on her health please. Im say I am begging you guys to give her xtra care after the mistake of her sleeping on broken glass. Did that happen no. A nurse finds her in so much pain the ambulance is called. She dies the next eve. So her last night and day she slept on glass begging for help and treated horribly. I will forever carry that guilt that I was not able to get help and trying to get someone to check on her and report back to me. I did not do right by her and I cant stop crying and asking her to forgive me. Dont make the same mistake as me. It will haunt you!
