I am a military member and had tried to reach out to SunDance Apartments for two weeks and their phone lines never went through. I finally received a call back a week later after I did an Internet inquiry; however, I missed the call and the employee told me to give her a call back at the main phone line. When I tried, it did not work. So I called the number I received the miss call from and Ms. Jaya answered. She lacked extreme customer service. Her tone was disrespectful and condescending when I simply asked a couple questions. I mentioned to her that I had tried to call for several days and the phone line wouldn't-She cut me off stating "UM Yea we know"... to which I questioned why did my voicemail from another employee tell me to call back that number then? Jaya cut me off again, "WeEeLlLllll maybe she didn't know?!" ... shouldn't all the employees know if their lines are down? The military base had this apartment listed on their temporary lodging for those on the waitlist for base housing... According to Jaya, that is false and they only offer one year leases. From the lack of responses and disrespectful customer service I'm not sure I would even want to stay at these apartments with this type management anyway. read more

My son lived here because it does have some outward appeal but renters beware, there is a strong chance of theft at this location. Their is little the management will do to help and their are no active deterrents. Again, be informed. Read the other reviews. If your the lucky few this doesn't happen to you must be related to management or management writes the positive reviews on here. read more

Update: I tried to give this apartment the benefit of the doubt and give them a call to hopefully find a resolution to the awful treatment/service I previously experienced. Unfortunately, I was again met with the same rude, disrespectful attitude and behavior to the point where no conversation or discussion was possible. This is a wonderful place to live! I have lived here for over a year and I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience. Tina and Kae are kind, welcoming, professional, and very responsive to tenants' needs. The maintenance and facilities team is awesome - they do excellent work to keep the apartments and community spaces looking beautiful (and feeling safe and healthy). The apartments are well-designed, spacious, impeccably clean, and contain great amenities (i.e. dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, washer and dryer in the unit, etc.). I really like the large, new washer and dryer in the apartment and fantastic kitchen appliances. read more

For Cheyenne it's a decent place to live. I have lived here for over two years now. It's one of the only apartments in town that will allow pets with animal deposit and one of the only to have air conditioning which is a must for me. I've heard from some people that they aren't pleasant to deal with when you move out with the inspections but I haven't been through that yet so hopefully that's not the case. So compared to your alternative options in Cheyenne I'll give it a 4. read more

The complex is always clean and plenty of parking everywhere. There are plenty of doggie stations for dog waste. It is very quite and peaceful there. Never any trouble or nuisance there. The office personnel are always friendly, helpful and caring. The maintenance crew are hands down the best. They always come the same day and are polite and quick. The apartment is updated and spacious. The price is very affordable for the area and worth every penny living there. read more

The Pros: The pool, playground, and hot tub are great to have. The garages are large and great for cars or storage, and the apartments themselves are very nice! They're spacious, the flooring and carpet is solid and good-looking, the kitchen is very nice with tons of storage space. It's always great to have storage in the bathroom, multiple closets, and a washer and dryer of our own. I LOVE the balcony, and it's fantastic to enjoy in warmer weather. Pets are allowed with a fair deposit! The Cons: The gym could be nice but some tenants don't take care of the equipment they use - pieces missing, kids climbing and tipping things, etc. Half of the grass has gone from lush and green to a horrible, patchy yellow eyesore because of pet urine. The grass used to be really nice and now the whole area looks ugly. People sometimes leave dog poop on really sad places, like in the middle of the sidewalk. THE INTERNET IS REALLY BAD. Okay, it's good if you want to look at your email or surf Yelp. It's really, really bad if you want to stream shows like Netflix or play an online game between the hours of 630 pm to 1030 pm. You know - when gaming or streaming is most convenient. Overall, I'd recommend these apartments in general and I think the rent is fair. If you told me you were an OCD gymaholic who likes to game, I'd tell you to go elsewhere. read more

I'd say 'stay away' but unfortunately Cheyenne is a very difficult place to find a decent rental. I'm a professional who recently relocated to the area and I've been shocked at the terrible state of the housing market here. There are NO options. This complex knows that and treats their tenants accordingly. So, if you must lease here be prepared for rude management and constant noise from your adjoining neighbors. It's not really your neighbors' fault though...this place is REALLY cheaply built. There's practically no insulation so it is not only cold but it sounds like your neighbors are in the room with you (seriously, you can hear people's phone calls). Woe be unto you if your neighbors have barking dogs or a home theater. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the vast construction site to the north (more apartments) that's given me two flat tires (three times I've found screws etc. in the road). It has been a terrible eyesore since I've arrived and a constant source of noise and clutter. I love Cheyenne but if you're moving here you should know: you will pay two prices for a decent place to rent. The housing market to buy isn't much better either. Complexes like this are cheap shanty towns that are thrown up overnight to profit off of this. Don't be fooled, it looks nice from the outside but it's so shoddy I'm surprised it hasn't blown away yet. read more

This is the worst apartments in town. The customer service was terrible. Someone attempted to break into my car where I was parked in front of the mailboxes where I was told I had to park because there is only one parking permit per apartment. After calling the office for other options to park the manager told me once again to park in front of the mailboxes. She was very rude and gave me no other options but to break my lease. The Sundance apartments cares zero about your property or safety. I will be moving and I recommend to all stay away from the Sundance apartments they will not help you for anything. read more

Poorly managed by dishonest people. Bad and shoddy design. The wind has blown down parts of the fence and siding. They did eventually fix the siding. Very noisy. The landscape is dying off and they don't seem to be replacing or removing dead trees and bushes. Unsanitary outside environment with animal feces, even where the playground is. If you are looking for more appearance and curb appeal, these are the best apartments in town. Especially since it includes the washer and the dryer inside of the unit. However, there are many, many, many flaws! The heater sounds like a train, the internet goes in and out a lot and the cable has really poor resolution (highly recommend to add on the HD cable package). The dishwasher only makes a sound of actually working, but if I check it after it's been ran, none of the dishes are hot or clean, they're still wet and nowhere near heated as it should be a heated dry. The same thing goes for the hot water in the shower, it does NOT stay hot for more than 5 minutes maximum. Also, the walls are very thin!! I've heard phones vibrating from the floor above me. Not to mention, the noise violations they issue aren't from credible sources, it's from an anonyms hotline. They also rarely have parking spaces. Other than that and the fact that the rent price doesn't match its abilities, the place LOOKS nice. read more

I thought this place looked nice, as it was a newer property however after I moved in, it's been one thing after another. Buildings are poorly constructed - siding falling off, flooding, appliances constantly breaking. I can hear my neighbors having conversations through the walls. The Property Manager is very unprofessional - always taking personal calls, making out with her elderly, resident/boyfriend, and standoffish when problems are addressed rather than simply correcting or apologizing. Maintenance staff is friendly and competent, but seem overwhelmed with constant repair requests. read more

I have not personally ever had a problem with the internet or the cable. When we moved here in 2012 we had moved from out of town and the staff was very nice and very helpful the whole way! The furnace IS a little loud, however it really kicks into gear and keeps your place warm when it is below freezing out ! We have had minimal maint. issues, but if we ever need someone the maint. has been prompt and courteous and nice. The apartment itself is in good shape, and even though the kitchen does only have one drawer I have found that the cabinet space is suitable. I have not had any neighbor problems, although on occasion a friendly leashless dog will greet me lol. I dont find this to be any fault through the apartments though they seem to do all they can to maintain a happy environment for everyone, and if I ever did have a concern or issue they are quick to address it. I have lived lots of places and if we were not house hunting I would be here for much longer! I recommend this place to just about anyone there seems to be an equal mix of families/singles/students/military. My family has enjoyed our stay here:) read more
