When I Googled to find which retail store sells Kimberly Queen ferns, Tractor Supply was one of the stores. Tractor Supply advertised Kimberly Queen ferns at $16.99. I called Tractor Supply to make sure they had a supply of the Kimberly Quuens. Yes! Plenty in stock. The clerk informed me that all garden nursery items are located outside. I found Boston ferns outside and not Kumberly Queen ferns. But decided to get two Boston ferns because of how large they are, and they were on sale for $15.99 All this talk about Kimberly Queen ferns, I was amazed to see real chickies being sold and purchased at Tractor Supply. I gave a five-star rating because the staff was helpful and very friendly, making my first visit to Tractor Supply pleasant.

Parking is not an issue with plenty of spaces. In the back of the complex is the outdoor Flea Market area, which vendors vary on a daily basis. You'll find a little bit of everything, because it's essentially a giant yard sale. In the front of the complex are the sheds, which are literal sheds vendors can lease and sell from. The main complex is three connected buildings with various vendors. Morning Sun Marketplace, unlike some flea markets, has a wide array of dining options. Vendors included video game booths, toy booths, trading card booths, and many others. The selection was rather impressive. All of the buildings were clean and well kept. Our biggest surprise was the booth style collectible and antique center in the middle building. It was full of high-quality items including many retro toys and collectables. If Morning Sun Marketplace is your local flea market, it's a great place to stop in at regularly. We were here in the off season, so we can't speculate on how many produce vendors show up during the months with better weather. Overall, it was worth the visit and I would return.

We parked and walked inside and right away we noticed that it was dirty EVERYWHERE. There were multiple empty spots where there might have been a vendor at one time. The lighting was terrible, and the place smelled as well. Everything looked outdated and most of the food vendors looked like they hadn't seen a health inspection in months. After a quick walk around the first building we headed back to our vehicle and couldn't get out of the parking lot fast enough! We won't be going back.........EVER!

Today I asked for products that were on every end of the store. I asked for advice on fixing my hutch which has cracked wood. I spoke to so many employees and everyone had good advice and actually did service with a smile! It's so refreshing. The store is so easy to navigate. It's clean and well organized. I don't know how the prices compare to a big box store, but I can tell you I'd rather pay a bit more to include helpful service so I don't care if PaulB is more or less costly. I appreciate the care.

I first stopped by Double Vision Acres over the summer just to check it out and was impressed with their farm store and selection of butchered meats. But when I saw they were hosting an event called Flannel Fest, I knew I had to make a return trip. I mean... free parking, free admission, free live music, and free petting zoo access if you wore flannel? Challenge accepted. I got there around 1:30 p.m. and found plenty of parking in the field just a short walk from all the action. The parking attendant was super helpful and friendly -- always a good sign. The place was hopping, with families, couples, and plenty of folks in flannel soaking up a perfect sunshiney fall day. Cody Ross Smith was performing live, the music was great, and the overall vibe was exactly what you want from a fall festival -- laid-back, cheerful, and full of small-town charm. Fire pits were burning, hay bales had been turned into makeshift couches, and kids were running around between the petting zoo and the play areas, having a fantastic day! The farm store was open too, selling baked goods, meats, and handmade soaps and lotions. It was the kind of afternoon that makes you wish fall could stick around forever. Huge kudos to Double Vision Acres for not just running a farm, but building a sense of community around it. Well-organized, family-friendly, and totally worth the drive. If you're looking for a place that serves up wholesome small-town fun with a side of s'mores and livestock -- this is it. They really take it from utilitarian to upscale. With that being said the prices have also increased. The inside is beautifully arranged and is a real treat to look at and source inspiration. The first room houses many varieties and sizes of houseplants and unique ways and products to grew them. The two greenhouses are more for flats, seasonal plants, and bushes. They also sell plant arrangements ready made if you're not confident enough to arrange yourself. Additionally they have a good variety of outdoor plants and bushes, supplies, pots and tools. Pricing is more than going to your local garden center but you're paying for aesthetics, although all of their plants did look healthy. Since they were closing and I didn't purchase anything so I can't vouch for customer service. I'd return for the inspiration and if I needed an unusual plant, but will probably stick to my regular garden shop for better priced basics.

There was only one vendor selling a very small amount of candy but we didn't see any other food vendors such as vendors that sell sauces, chocolates, dips, etc. Maybe next time....
