The inner space had a very calm vibe and I enjoyed my head and foot massage, but would have liked more neck work and less facial, as I assumed scalp massage would be a larger part of the treatment and not just 30 seconds of dry frictioning. Since the options were limited, I wasn't able to book treatments I would have gone with and didn't love the oil and lotion being left on me at the end of the massage, but I enjoyed the red light mask, cold gua sha, and foot massage and my masseuse was incredibly friendly and personable. Overall I liked the experience, but it was difficult to book online and I'm not sure I'd recommend visiting until all their treatments are available and the space is a bit more luxurious.

The surroundings are historic and gorgeous. The saunas are plentiful, the pool area is relaxing, and just for a few hours, you don't have to do anything except exist. I'll admit that was difficult for me at first, but wonderful once my nervous system caught up. Bring a book and read in one of the little nooks surrounding the pool. Breathe deeply in the herbal sauna or bask in the glow of the infrared one. Enjoy the roman baths, or book a treatment for the ultimate relaxation experience. Whatever you choose to do, do not miss a chance to visit. You will love it.

I had to have a Swedish massage while in Sweden! Is it really a trip to Sweden without one (and…read moremaybe some meatballs!)? I of course took to Yelp to find the best place to do this. Definitely found the right one! This was a magical experience. The hotel is beautiful, and just screams luxury. I checked in early, because I wanted to have some extra time in the wet areas, and not feel rushed. Everyone was friendly, and I was greeted with a robe, flip flops, and a locker to place my items. The pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and cold plunge were all fantastic additions to prepare me for my massage. The massage was wonderful (it was a guy, which at first made me nervous but turned out great), and I left feeling completely relaxed. I did mine in the evening, which was perfect because I was able to shower and go straight to bed! My only complaint would be that it was quite warm in there, so I did sweat, but who doesn't want all the toxins out of your body?! Especially after all the lovely wine and mead on my vacation! No pics as cameras are not allowed!

We got there an hour early to enjoy the myriad of features they had before the massage. In the women's only locker there was a cold plunge, waterfall shower, and sauna. In the co-ed shared space there was a small indoor pool, a room which seemed like a giant jacuzzi, and a steam room. After using all the amenities, we had a wonderful 90 minute Swedish Massage upstairs in their treatment rooms. Fantastic massage and a must while in Stockholm.
