So I tried this place again a couple months ago. The massage was good & they honored the price quote they gave me over the phone of $40 for an hour massage. BUT, then when I tipped $5, the lady said that it's a minimum $10 tip required. I couldn't believe it! 1st off a tip is voluntary, but I always tip b/c I know those employees rely on it. But I have never had a required minimum. Especially 1 that is over 20% of the total! This isn't a 6 person restraunt scenario. It's a cheap massage! I wonder if they realize their r about 10 different massage parlors within 10 miles of this place. I just want consistency. read more

I went to Melting Point because I wanted to soak in the Jacuzzi BEFORE my massage. I thought the extra $20 was ridiculous, but I was willing to pay for pain relief. When I arrived, they said it'd take 20 minutes to fill the Jacuzzi. I said okay. Yet, they rushed me into a room to massage me BEFORE the Jacuzzi. CoCo was very unsure of herself, almost timid. She completely lacked confidence and any massage skills and it was almost like she was asking permission before she did anything. Plus she left several times to answer the phone and to greet new customers. She would have received a much larger tip if she was more assertive and less hesitant. read more

Be forewarned, this establishment is NOT professional. My spouse went here because the neighboring chiropractor was closed. During his massage he had been inappropriately touched, to which his massager asked if it was OK. No, it was not OK with him, or me for that matter. read more

This place was clean but as soon as my husband and I were placed into the couple's room (a large tiled shower area converted into a massage room) we were freezing. To warm us up they gave us an extra towel. May I suggest a space heater and rugs for that room? Our one hour massage began. The two therapists kept whispering to each other in their native language. For this I recommend relaxing music and no conversation between therapists. My husband's massage therapist left him 4 times during his session to answer the phone, not including the "hot towel" trip. What was more upsetting was that his massage ended before mine; he sure got cheated out of his time. We paid for a one hour full body massage and they did not touch our feet either. It felt as if their focus was on bringing in customers rather than tending to the ones at their business. read more

Worked on my knots and it was painfully good! After the massage, I felt so loose and relaxed. I hadn't felt the need to crack my back for the rest of the day. The next day I felt even better, I didn't feel tense when I woke up! Along with the good massage was the nice ambiance. The low lighting and the gentle music put me half asleep. The place is really clean and neat. The staff is also exceptionally welcoming and nice. They offer complimentary drinks and light snacks. 60min foot& body reflexology for only $12.50 with the discount. I like this place. I have gone to a few other massage parlors in the area. But these people are one of the good ones. The prices are pretty good, although I wish they would do body scrubs (although I haven't asked about that). They can feel where you need work done, so I usually don't tell them what hurts. I feel like I'm giving them a test. Haha. The only thing I don't really like is that when they give you the water afterwards, they hang around to wait for the tip. I'd rather give the tip to the cashier, to give to them later. Or maybe I could leave it in the room? Either way, I feel awkward giving them their tips there. read more

I was two minutes away from leaving four stars for this place! My first of two trips there ended up in me terminating after only about 7 minutes what was the worst massage of my life. At about 5 minutes I asked her (Cocoa I think she said her name was), "Have you ever gone to massage school?". In fairness to her, when I stopped the massage, she did refund my $40 to me. Said her hand was hurt and she could not give a proper massage. To which I replied, "Then you shouldn't be charging people to give them massages until your hand is better". Second trip.... Good massage--not great, but good: probably 7 out of 10 (and I've had some 9's in my time). I was a little bit uncomfortable at times though because her hand strayed a little too close to the 'jewels' more than once. She even said, "Down here OK?" (to massage, she meant--I think). I said, "No, not down there". Might have been innocent, I don't know. Or a happy ending was in fact possible. Not something I was into. Just wanted a massage. Anyway, finished the massage and walked out of the room to, "You tip, OK?". I told her (Cici was what she called herself) that I had intended to tip her but I needed my credit card charge slip back to put the tip on there....They charge a $2.00 extra fee if you use a credit card, BTW, which they don't tell you about up front. I wrote down a $15 tip for the $60 massage: 25%. To which I immediately got from Cici, "Only $15? You tip more! At least $20!". I kid you not, that's almost verbatim. In what world is a 25% tip not a good tip?! I walked out, promising to never return. To sum up, the first trip, coupled with the last minute or two of the second trip, are what earned this shady place one star. You MIGHT be able to get a decent massage there (maybe even a happy ending if you're into that). But overall their practices are sleazy. There are much better options around town. These people need to lose enough business to shut down. From the fact that I've only seen one other customer in there each time I've gone, that might be happening. read more

This place is horrible. I have now been 3 times. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I shouldn't have even come a third time but I thought I would give it one last shot. Scheduled an appointment for a 90 Mom massage at 7:00. When I arrived the lady said she was busy and could only do an hour. So whatever I settle for an hour. Then someone else walks in as I am on the table. She leaves and I hear her asking if they can wait 30 minutes. When she returns she says only 30 minutes okay... we are busy. I tell her no which forces her to turn the other customer down. She left the room multiple times so I ended up really only getting a 30 minute massage however I already had paid for an hour. When I told her I wanted my money back for shorting my massage she wanted to argue the time I arrived. I left because fighting it was just not worth my time... yet somehow leaving this review is. I will not be returning. Oh and the massage sucked. Not even a massage. More like limp hands rubbing my back. I would have been better off finding a fence post to grind on. read more

Oh man...... too many years have i avoided massages. I have to say Melting Point totally changed my view on things. I havent felt this relax in a long time. David had helped me relieve the horrible pressure that had been behind my shoulders for quite awhile. I actually fell asleep a couple times because i was so relaxed. Enviroment is definitley comfortable and soothing. Area is very clean. Staff is top notch amazing. Id definitley recommend this place to all my friends and famliy. Also they have half off massages all month! Like the service is already great then they throw that 50% discount on and things are too unbelievable. Plus she left for 6 minutes to go answer a phone call. Good thing I timed her. Can't believe this place, def will tell everyone about it. What happened here!? A month ago I was singing their praises, but after my recent visit, I must update my review. The pros: the place is still relatively cheap, clean, and the people are polite and friendly. Cons:the price has been raised from $20 to $25, the foot massage is now literally just an arm, head, and foot RUB, not a massage. If you're a foot massage connoisseur like I am, you know that the standard "foot" massages always includes a full-body massage with clothing. A lot of attention is focused on your head, neck, shoulders AND back, as well as your feet. This guy did not touch my back at all. The A.C. was turned up too high, the music was too low, the massage was interrupted several times by loud yakking over my head (although I don't speak Mandarin, I can still hear your conversation and it's NOT relaxing) and to complete the massage rather than a gentle, "All finished" the bright lights were turned on. I went in for a massage with severe lower back pain. I explained to them I hurt and needed help on my lower back. They put me in this room and told me to cover up with a TOWEL. only cover my hip area and that they don't have women lay on their backs there. The guy came in and immediately started pressing super hard on my back. It hurt so bad I thought I was going to die!! At one point he climbed up on the table and was stradling my head. Totally uncomfortable and awkward!! He was massaging my legs and feet really hard too. I tried telling him not so hard. He was asian and didn't speak english very well. He didn't understand me. I told him softer! Which he understood that. He massaged super hard on my shoulder blades and moved my arms backwards almost too far. By the time I left I was in more pain then when I went in there. I couldn't relax during the massage. Oh and he did have me turn over on my back and he massaged my head WAY TOO HARD. Gave me a headach which I already suffer from migraines. It was the worse experience EVER!! I will NEVER go back there. DO NOT GO TO THIS MASSAGE PLACE. IT IS HORRIBLE!!! read more

You get what you pay for. We were looking for a place where my husband and I could go together and relax and not break the bank. This place was fine but I have been to better. They sh**y part is that I found them on yelp and it was like 12 min from my house (I have others close by but couldn't see them on yelp) and I like to call ahead for appointments which they did for me. I asked for the check in special and they said they don't do it so I didn't press it. The massages were okay. We did the combo (foot and body). You need to tell them to relax if they are being too hard. They were way to hard where it didn't even feel like deep tissue..almost feels like they don't know what they are doing. I mean for the price it was fine. I wouldn't come back but I would probably go to one closer to my house. At the end of the day, many of the reflexology places practice the same way...careless. read more

This place was amazing. Went last night at 9pm. My boyfriend and I got a full body massage it was well worth the $50. The workers were welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable. Went home and fell right to sleep. We will definitely be back. read more
