Okay I had already written a prior 5 star review in tribute to Ashley's astrological and intuitive prowess; I can add another one at this point in time. On Friday, the 2nd of October, she predicted that I would be limited in my communication, particularly with regards to getting back to people on the phone later that evening. She stated this around 1 pm, without knowing that within the next forty minutes, my Samsung Galaxy Note 5's motherboard would be damaged enough to not turn on again, despite how long its battery was powered by the charger. This review is unlike the other ones previously posted for Ashley because I am completely non spiritual on any and all levels. And I only suggested that my BFF and I go to a psychic because it was so distinctly something I would ordinarily never ever do (push come to shove) much less suggest doing. However it was our 30 year meeting anniversary and my memory is terrible so I wanted to remember it by doing something completely wacky and atypical. So we finished our BFF couples massage spa day and called a few of the psychics listed in yelp who were closest to us in proximity, with our only other criteria being to find someone who was willing to work on Sundays and would meet us on the spot. Anyway long story longer, Ashley returned our call and we went right over to her office. I quickly realized she read tarot cards. (but no crystal balls or reading of palms or anything like that) She has a cozy and nicely decorated office with lots of little crystal rocks around the table and stuff. I was a bit uncomfortable, feeling completely unprepared and a tad ridiculous, wondering if I was supposed to come armed with questions (which I did not have any) and wouldn't even know what kind of questions people might typically ask anyway. So I encouraged my BFF to go first and although she agreed, she turned out to be just as ill-informed as I was. So Ashley kind of just went down a generic path and said she was going to see what the cards wanted to say. And my friend's reading seemed kind of vanilla, not really fitting my friend's life very well. This met my expectations of what going to a psychic would be like and so it was harmless fun. By the time my friend's time was coming to an end I started to get the gist of what the questions were supposed to be like and we started asking better questions. And then my friend's answers became a lot more plausible within the context of my BFF's life. Next it was my turn and I was more relaxed now since I felt more prepared. But what happened next I quickly found I was completely unprepared for. From the beginning to the end of my reading me and my BFF's jaws dropped open and stayed that way... Ashley was so specific and so spot-on with granular details that were precisely accurate and undeniable. She described my husband's personality, the key issues in our marriage, and even specifically stated what our most recent argument was about. Mind you, we don't argue hardly at all. This was a big deal because it was one of very few in the past 20 years of marriage. Toward the end I don't know what possessed me to do something so short sighted but I asked about a particularly painful relationship in my life and ended up literally bursting into tears when she said the exact thing I knew was true but did not enjoy hearing. I made my BFF use the remainder of my time allotment. So in the end I have to say that Ashley is scary good at her job and that - nothing personal to Ashley, she was such a nice and professional person - but I never ever want to see her again! She is nice enough,and she can definitely pick up on things. Not that generous with her time (ie. she basically stops the read on the dot), and she could be a bit warmer. Her prices are a tad bit pricey, but ok....(in general I would stay away from anyone who charges more than $80 an hour)...She shuffles cards a lot for each new question or topic which can be a quiet a bit time-consuming, but may be necessary for the way she works.
