What's blatantly obvious is the staff is SUPER friendly & helpful! From the complimentary airport shuttle service and everyone in between, loved the welcoming vibe that was felt. I can point out a few names, Leo, first friendly face we met & gave some great food recommendations! Jorge, who welcomed us with Fleuris Tea, which I found quite delicious and requested it every breakfast... Mmmm! Macie, who with Jorge, really took care of us so well at every breakfast. This is not one of those posh Las Vegas hotels, but certainly a comfortable living space for an island hotel outside the USA. Located in down town Puerto Princesa City, the views from room 219 are "ehhh" at best, but that's not what we needed. With all our exploration of the island, what was really important was somewhere to crash comfortably, bathed in AC! I was out like a light as soon as put my head on the pillow! Bed was all Goldilocks for me :) No weird noises distracting my from sleep, just the continuous purr of the AC. No funky smells. No worry of mosquitos. Complimentary breakfast that has Filipino & American options made to order (not the Fleuris Tea though lol!). Yup, no complaints here! It was all good! EASY RECOMMENDATION!

We ended up leaving wIthin 2 hours and they didn't even refunded us our payment. They told us to call booking.com and I did. But then booking.com told me that the resort doesn't want to refund my payment. I paid $500+ and I lost that money This place is bogus. It showed they have ocean near them and when we get there it's filtHy. The room is not worth what I paid for and the wifi and TV are not working. I booked so many hotels and resorts around the world and it's sad to say this is the worst. I'm posting actual pictures we took in the resort and the room so beware and avoid this place. Oh btw, I cannot even rate this place in booking.com. So just imagine how a big rip off this place is. Don't trust this place and even those reviews in booking.com or other app. These are bogus and not worth your money.

We came for a family vacation and wanted to be close to the water so we picked this place. The…read morehotel comes to the airport to pick you up in a shuttle with water and provides cool towels. You drive to a semi remote road to get to the hotel. Once you walk in, the check in desk is next to an open dining area that opens on an infinity pool and beach in the background. Each room is a beach house so it's really cute. The bathroom has a shower without any doors that drains in the floor. Each room comes with a good air conditioning unit and the curtains do a good job of blocking out the sun when fully closed. Outside patio has chairs with long arms to dry your clothes. The only worry I had was that the outside sliding doors are tricky to lock. The pool was nice to swim in and it was very peaceful. It was cool to see the tide coming in and out every day while swinging in a hammock. Breakfast is buffet style and they start early for those that have tours. They also make omelets, pancakes, and eggs for you on request. My only complaints are the walls are a little thin so you can hear everything and you have to travel to get anywhere since it's a bit remote. I think it does add to the charm, but be prepared to travel some when you come here.

I changed my room because of this and new room had same problem. And with staff we tried other door and credit card popped open the door . Now my only other problem was the cold swimming pool . Nothing more I hate is when I can't go swimming in a beautiful pool because it's cold !!!!!! One of the reasons I booked this hotel besides I am a rewards member . And there's really no property grounds to walk around on. But we had a very 3 night stay .

All in all it was a nice place to stay however if we stay in Puerto Princessa again a location we will stay at a hotel with beach access because we could not find a public beach.

You can get the glass noodles or egg based noodles. For lunch you can check out the restaurant that serves Italian / Filipino cuisine. The four seasons pizza is to die for, and so is the seafood plate. Try out the Filipino desserts, or top off your meal with a chill pina colada. Last but not least, the pool is by far the greatest amenity. They do an excellent job keeping it clean, and it's extremely beautiful day or night.
