A rock hit my windshield while I was driving north on 295 (and, no, I wasn't anywhere close to the…read morecar in front of me) and left a heck of a ding. I called my insurance, they asked me some questions about the general look of it and its size, then decided to send me to Safelite in Riverton for a patch job. I was asked if I wanted to go in person or have a mobile appointment (I didn't realize until after the fact that they'd COME to ME to fix it! that's cool!). I was able to get an in person appointment immediately, and it took about 45 minutes to get repaired. While the front desk people weren't the friendliest, the technician was! He came out to get me and talk to me about how he repaired it, explained that it wasn't a perfect fix (as in, you can tell a rock hit my windshield but it also kinda looks like some really bad sap got stuck), and to tell me that he couldn't say for sure that I'd pass my next inspection but he did the best he could. This is a nervous five star. YES, my car passed inspection (since the ding is smallish and not within my direct line of sight). BUT, I'm not sure how it'll hold up long term (especially come winter when I have to scrape snow and ice off my car). Supposedly they back their work with a nationwide guarantee on repairs, sooooo I'm sure it'll be fine? For now, thanks guys!

After getting my first appointment rescheduled by Safelite which I only discovered when they texted…read moreme at 3:00 am on the day of the appointment, I waited in all day for a tech who never showed up For the new date and time. 3- 1/2 hours after the appointment window I got a text announcing my service had been reschedule, no "We're sorry but " or any form of apology. After having my day messed up twice and missing taking my wife to an event on her birthday so I could wait in for no reason I will never have Safelite work on any of my vehicles again.

Wow, I am THRILLED! I tend to avoid cleaning the inside of my car because, well . . . boring,…read moretakes too long, etc. But it had been awhile (read: literal years) since I'd done anything at all to the inside of my trusty little 2009 Toyota Corolla, so it was just grimy and dusty and had dirt from the garden and leaves and whatnot. I decided to splurge on an interior detailing, and am very glad I chose Pristine. You make an appointment online (when I did so the next available was about a week and a half out, and they called to confirm and ask basic details, which I appreciated). Since I don't have pets and don't smoke, and there were no major stains, I was able to get by with Pristine's base rate for small cars ($175 at this writing; all prices on their website). I truly think this splurge was worth it--it looks *amazing*! Seats thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned, including underneath the two front seats (the guy found some things that had rolled under there from some long-ago shopping trip, LOL); carpets and floorboards now spotless; all the little console cracks and crevices spic and span. Included the trunk, too! Just FYI, the place is a little hard to see from the street--you have to pull off Forest Ave. and go between the buildings, down the long driveway to the "auto detailing" sign and their front door. Once you do you'll be greeted by the very nice young men who work there, and then leave your car with them for a few hours, and voila! There are various detailing places and I called around for estimates from a few, and I'm happy to have found this one. Highly recommend!

Don't waste your time and money here. I paid for the full package of an interior and exterior…read moredetail and I'm going to have to finish both myself. They didn't even try to properly wash - let alone detail - the exterior of the car, it seems they just took a hose to it and used my own windshield wipers to handle the windshield. The front especially is filthy with the tires covered in gravel still thst even has dirt sprayed up and onto the door. The interior of my car is quite dirty, literally sand on the seat, dirt stains to wipe off snd the windows either not finished or they had used a dirty rag because there are ugly streaks everywhere. I'm going to have to pay to have the exterior washed somewhere else and hand scrub the interior, I took half a dozen pictures of the intetior and emailed it back to them.

Very difficult experience over the past few weeks. My minivan was hit in the rear windshield by a…read moreservice truck while it was parked in the driveway of my duplex on the 3rd of July and it was smashed to bits . It took nearly 3 weeks and several phone calls between myself and Portland Glass and the driver of the utility truck and the insurance is and I kept being told it wasn't going to be covered even though it was no fault of my own and through a long headache process I eventually got it approved through no help from Portland Glass. I believe, in fact, that they made it much more difficult been needed by saying it wasn't going to work and the owner of the truck was able to work out something with their insurance company and they went and paid in person at Portland Glass so I could have the window replaced . In this amount of time we asked about how much glass was in the rear of the vehicle . I said there was really quite a bit. I am a single mother with three teenagers and I just started renting this house , I do not have a shop vac and my home vacuum cleaner is not in very good shape either , certainly not in good enough shape to vacuum up lots of small glass pieces . They said that makes sense don't worry about it we will do the glass clean up for you. I work about a half a mile from there and I've been ill recently with cancer treatments And it was a tough walk with all of my work items Up the hill To retrieve my van at the end of the work day On Friday Period As I Walked in the door they asked me for payment And I said well it's already been paid Period and she said I have here that you owe me and she rattled off an amount And then somebody came up from behind her and said no this has already been paid Period and then she said We really didn't remove very much of the glass because the trunk was full of stuff Period And I just didn't have it in me to press her about it. Waiting for 3 weeks with a window that I can't see through because I had to use white plastic wrapping on a 20 yr old van that doesn't have a backup camera , I most absolutely would have taken time to take things out of the van so that the glass could be vacuumed up if I had known that that was what was going to happen!!!!! . Who the hell knows when I'll get the glass vacuumed out of the van now. I'm guessing sales and the Tech departments don't talk much together. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with this very old van for now And I just put a thousand dollars into it So it was kind of depressing to get the window smashed in literally a week after The other repairs And now to have glass all over the back end still Is Disheartening to say the least, especially since I don't have a way to remove it. I think these things sound so easy for someone in an office to say "Oh we didn't vacuum it because your stuff was in the way" even tho I was told it would get cleaned! how much does it possibly weigh If Single mom and kids can pick it up by herself I'm sure a couple of men can pick it up!!!! I understand needing to preserve people's backs but honestly nothing in there weighed more than 20 lb at the most and that would have been a paddle board that was deflated and in a bag, the other things were lawn chairs and a bag full of beach towels , stuff my teenagers easily can pick up without help .

They charged me and my car insurance company for the same work. (Still working with my car…read moreinsurance to get it sorted out.) The icing on cake is that their associate offered to give me further car assistance at my house. Gross and unprofessional. Won't be using them again.
