The kids felt pretty natural around her pretty quickly, so the pictures look like the real kids. She used to be a teacher, so working with kids is second nature. She was also super understanding and honest with us about how we looked and was very supportive. Sara was also flexible with our scheduling. The first date we set didn't work out, and we canceled, so we had to reschedule. It wasn't a problem.

Received photos 4 weeks after session instead of promised 2 weeks. Photos were barely edited (could see obvious blemishes). Was disappointed that almost everyone at school had better senior photos than me. She responded to my initial inquiry quickly, and provided tons of options from the different packages she offers, locations for our photo shoot, and so much more. Her price structure was reasonable and clear, and flexible too. She offered payment arrangements even! The day of our photo shoot my son and I met her at our chosen location (Lewisville Park). I've lived in the area my entire life, and have been to Lewisville dozens of times but Marie knew places in the park I've never seen! She had a pop up tent for outfit changes, and gave her opinions on what outfits would be best in each location. She paid close attention to the lighting, and made sure we hit all of the spots in the park that she knew would make for good photos. She even snagged a few pictures of me with my son even though I hate having my picture taken! When we got the previews I was actually very thankful she had taken these, they turned out to be some of my favorite pics and a special memory with myself and my baby. I also need to note that this wasn't my first experience with senior pictures, my oldest had graduated 4 years prior. I had used another photographer in the area. When I compared the photos of my oldest with the photos Marie took it was a SHOCKING DIFFERENCE in quality. I wish I would have found Marie sooner! Lastly, Marie is just absolutely the sweetest.
