I was very happy that the Buyer and I were able to sign the contract in their office and Michele, the closing agent, walked us through the process from that point through closing. A schedule of fees was provided and later, a settlement statement was emailed to me in advance. Unfortunately, the Buyer backed out of the sale and the process stopped. Michele assured me that she would hold on to all the title work that had been done and that I would not be charged for the work that they had completed. I am now considering another contract for the sale of my home and of course, I want to work with Sun National Title to see the process completed. The current Buyer is being represented by an attorney who is insisting that the closing be handled through his office. I called Sun National Title to express my concerns. Trisha was my contact for this call and I was once again assured that Sun National Title would be there for me if I still want them to be my closing company. Trisha answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. At this point, I don't know how this is going to play out and who will end up being the title company that handles the closing, but I have the highest respect and feel a great amount of loyalty to Sun National Title for their professionalism, integrity, and compassion regarding my concerns.
