UPDATE: DRIVING HOME YESTERDAY EVENING AND HEARD A LOUD RATTLE WHICH SOUNDED LIKE MY WINDSHIELD WAS COMING OUT, got home and saw the entire top molding trim was flopping around completely out ! I pressed it back in and called another glass company who will come Wednesday to look at it and hopefully fix it right. I will get something in writing from them as I have not heard anything from Sunnyside in regards to their failure on my car. I will follow up with the bbb.More updates Wednesday! Had my windshield replaced several weeks ago,I called back because I can hear and feel windshield coming through at highway speeds. Was told to bring it in for it to be checked and they had a worker drive my car with me in the passenger side, we hit a little 1 minute ride at speeds of 45- 50 and I had to tell him to put on a seat belt. Get back to the shop where he does a "pressure test" on one little area of my car and said everything is fine lol. At this point im going to go next week and see about a second opinion and see if I can get my "lifetime leak guarantee" .your not going to feel the air at 45 miles an hour. Perhaps if I have paperwork from another company saying yes there is a leak then it might get fixed read more

Okay First time we take my Rv to replace one of the windshield we pay $1800 you know $1800 is a lot money no problem we need it so we pay for that but we take the Rv 2 hours away from griffin and starting liking we take back to the shop the manager said we need to replace the windshield gasket. We ask if we put that we be okay he said yes so he put the gasket $960 and just what liking again the windshield cracked and they put silicone around and just to install the gasket he take like 2 weeks so we paid olmos $3000 we think is ridiculous take to long and they not do good job read more

Mike the technician had my window installed in under an hour and also suggested I get a new clip for my door handle and he would install it when I came back. We called Sunnyside Glass based on a recommendation. We made an appointment, but the installer showed up with the wrong windshield. We determined that the person who scheduled the appointment did not ask the questions necessary. The installer, Jake, was very nice and helpful saying he would get it resolved. We waited a couple of days and didn't hear from them so we called back. They said they had us scheduled for the next day. The next day came and went as did the time they were supposed to come by. We called and they said they didn't have us scheduled and they were short staffed and couldn't come out. At that point, we felt like it wasn't a priority for them, so we moved on and looked for another installer. Two days passed and Jake contacted us to say he'd be there in 15 minutes to repair the windshield. He didn't have an appointment and there was no communication that he was coming. Of course, we had other plans, like picking up kids from school, so we thanked Jake who was very apologetic for the lack of communication, but we had moved on. Then a couple of hours later we got a call from the office. Seems like no one communicates much there either. We liked Jake, but wouldn't recommend Sunnyside Glass. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only where there several paint scratches and chipped paint around the windshield there was also a very large dent left in the frame of the pillar. I took the car for the owner to see the work within 24 hours and he acknowledged the chips were likely from the installation but would not accept responsibility for the dent his employe did to my car. Also, there was glue left all around the new window, they didn't even bother to clean it up and do a tidy install. I'm disgusted I gave them a dime and even more disgusted at the workmanship and the owners lack of effort to rectify the issue. After going to the owner first I took the car to Bellamy Strickland auto body and they were amazed that a glass company did such a poor job. The repair caused by this company cost $2000 plus the fees for my claim with court. DO NOT USE THEM EVEN IF THE OFFER YOU A FREE WINDSHIELD. The damage they do to your car will be far more than what you would pay for qualified glass instillation from a company with some insurance to make you whole and repair your car should their employees damage it! read more

They had the best prices around to install a side window in my 4Runner, are quick and have a clean waiting room. I was going to dock them a star inasmuch as Curtis, the owner, blew me some crap because, to save $60, I bought a used window from Andrews junk yard (which was a really frustrating saga in itself) rather than from him and seemed rather unpleasant. However, they were flexible about staying late to install it so I'll go with 4 stars. Kind of tough to find from Highway 19-41; you need to go to the Southern Pit BBQ and it's across the parking lot. Best bet is to go down the Old Atlanta Road. read more

Took our other vehicle to the Bass Shop downtown Griffin a few yrs ago (did a yep review on it)... they charged $130 to tint front 2 windows on 1500 and was extremely rude and racist... decided with our new GMC truck to try someone else that would appreciate our hard earned money... and I must say that Sunnyside Glass EXCEEDED our expectations with their (all the staff) kindness, great customer service, attention to detail, their work ethics and prices for sure (paid $50 less w front 2 windows on GMC pickup)!! Just gave my son their info for his wife's BMW that has a cracked windshield... will be referring everyone I know in need of their services to them!!! read more

I made an appointment last week to have the windshield in my 96 Acura RL replaced. Called and spoke to a person who referred me to the location in Griffin. I got a call from the Griffin location who gave me a quote and set the appointment for Monday the 16th a 1 P.M... Also received an email with the same quoted price. Took the day off, and arrived at the Griffin location at 1245 P.M... There was no one there and a sign on the door saying they would be back at 130. I called the number and the person I spoke to acted like all of this was news to him. He asked me what price was I quoted and when I told him he said that was wrong (of course it was higher than I was quoted). He then told me "someone had fumbled the ball" and that my glass was not even at the Griffin location. After taking the day off to do this, and then treated with such disregard, I would NOT suggest anyone do business with this company. You only get ONE chance to make a first impression, and this one sucked! read more

The man running the shop quotes me a price of $175 plus tax and states that the universal molding that is needed for installation is included in the price. When it's time to check out, he charges me an extra $10 for the molding. Walk out price is $190. I already had a quote of $185 for someone to come to my house and replace the windshield, why would I pay $5 more and have to drive to have the work done? Shame on me THIS TIME, I should have gotten the quote in writing. Where's the integrity? HE knows what he said. So much for trusting the little guy. I would not recommend Sunnyside Glass for tinting windows. They tinted my windows and my windows has air bubbles in them. They took several days to respond to my complaint, then finally said they would re-do it, but me personally do not want them touching my windows again because if they got air bubbles in the tint the first time then I don't trust them to do it a second time. read more
