Just when I thought 2020 couldn't throw anything else at me, a pebble hurls itself at my windshield while I'm driving along on the interstate. Sigh. The fate of glass is to break, right?  I came across Pro Setters Auto Glass while searching on trusty Yelp and requested a quote through the listing, including a photo of the damage (two small cracks). Joshua replied (even after business hours) that it would be $70 to fix, and we scheduled an appointment for his next available opening which a couple of days out. Joshua advised placing some clear tape over the cracks to prevent additional dirt and such from getting into the wound which I did.  Joshua arrived at my place within the stated two hour timeframe, having sent a message when he was on the way. Once he found my car, he got right to work. The whole process was actually pretty interesting to observe. Joshua was friendly and polite, answering all of my questions and even not being fazed when an overly chatty neighbor unexpectedly stopped by to watch. About 30-40 minutes later, Joshua was all done, having given the windshield and other areas a wipe down. He told me that I was all set since no special aftercare was required and informed me the repair has a lifetime guarantee which gave me additional peace of mind. The cracks look significantly better and impressively aren't even really noticeable from certain angles. Now I don't have to worry about them getting worse. Full disclosure, I did not use their services- but let me explain why I am giving them a 5 star rating! On Saturday, I was struck by a large stone that sounded like I was getting shot at. The star on my windshield was so hard, I thought it went all the way through. I sent a note Sunday to a few places on Yelp and Josh from Pro Setters Auto Glass wrote me back within a couple hours. Their pricing was reasonable, but he didn't have any openings for the week, which tells me he is very busy and has a lot of loyal customers and recommendations. He did not have any openings this week, so he recommended that I use someone he also partners with- A+ Minor Auto Repair. They sent someone out within 24 hours and Bernard came to fix my windshield for $75 with a lifetime guarantee. It says something when you're willing to pass along business to someone else because you know that you're not going to get to a customer within a week. I respect the hell out of that, and I can tell you that speaks volumes to his professionalism and courtesy for understanding the urgency of getting a star fixed ASAP to make the car driveable.
