Dr. De Coninck is a wonderful doctor and I would full heartedly recommend her!…read more She is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, the only problem that makes it hard to see her is the amount of patients and the lack of dermatologists in PAMF, causing scheduling an appointment with her to takes about 5 - 6 months.

Dr. DeConinck is the best! I've been going to Dr. DeConinck since 2007 & she has helped me through…read moreevery stage of my early middle school days all the way to my early 20's. Dr. DeConinck is knowledgeable, friendly, honest, & will give you the medical terms & terms that are more understandable as well. I've been going to Dr. DeConinck for so long because you know what? There is not just a quick fix for acne. If there was, that would be odd & probably not healthy. In the beginning I tried Proactive, Differin, antibiotics, seaweed mixtures, Obaji, & so many products. Dr. DeConinck did not give up on me! I'm glad she was attentive & always knew what I had tried, for how long, what I did & did not like & what I should try next. Finally she suggested Accutane. I was excited but nervous since it's such a powerful medication. So I decided in 2009 to give it a go! I've had horrible acne since I was in 3rd grade & had to change school multiple times; 6 times to be exact from 3rd to 12th grade. I could not stand being bullied. Accutane saved me! I had acne everywhere! :( The only con I could say Accutane has is if you're a female since you need to go through extra precautions ect. & lab tests every month & appointments every month. But 4 sessions of Accutane later I'm acne free (knock on wood) & I'm much happier now! Side note: People think & say that Accutane causes suicidal thoughts ect. I would disagree! The 2-3 month of Accutane your acne does get worse, like horrifically worse but then clears up. I think during that time users think they will never get better & then they get depressed. Dr. DeConinck can be pretty busy sometimes & it's hard to get an appointment but keep that appointment & let her help you. She's the best & you will have radiant healthy skin that lasts.

Cons: Unfortunately the setting on the laser was higher than the recommended strength and I got a burn scar that blistered. On coming back I did some reading about bbl and realized that there needs to be some cooling period after each flash which was not followed which led to my blister. So I feel that they lack experience The receptionist Farah is very rude :( I was nervous to go there and she made the experience worse. Also she's somehow responsible to give the pricing to patients and puts an awful front. I didnt want to deal with this place because I got a feeling they wont care/entertain any concerns given shes who I will have to deal with. There's less structure to the pricing they charge, she gave me a quote nd then increased it about 20 mins later for the owner who may read this - please look into the patients experience if you care about your business.

I told them I was there before and I had a Groupon, and on the phone, they said they would make an exception and see me. After my prior engagement, my Dad and I drove to the office. The rude lady at the front desk (Is it Farah?) asked for my drivers license, then after my Dad and I waited for 30 minutes, told me that they would not see me because I was there before. I spent an hour driving there, 30 minutes waiting at the office, and another hour driving back -- just because the office did not honor their commitment after telling me that they would make an exception, not to mention the unnecessary privacy ask. They essentially wasted two people's time by lying and disrespecting their clients. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It's horrendous.

I was prescribed tretinoin by another provider, and thankfully, I did not have a reaction to it. Instead, it actually helped treat the warts on my hands and face. The other provider and their team made the treatment process extremely straightforward and were knowledgeable about how to properly treat the warts. The other provider's team also explained to me that I should have received yeast injections in the areas where the warts were located, rather than receiving only one injection in the palm. I was told that treating only one area would not adequately address warts located in other areas. This was another reason I became concerned about the treatment I had previously received. In comparison, my experience with Helen Lee at Sutter Health was extremely frustrating. I spent months with her trying to get appropriate treatment, while my concerns were not being properly recognized or addressed. I ultimately had to seek treatment from another dermatologist who was knowledgeable in this area and was able to provide me with a much clearer treatment plan. Because of this experience, I would personally recommend avoiding Helen Lee at Sutter Health and seeking out another dermatologist who is knowledgeable in their specialty and knows how to properly evaluate and treat warts. Your time and money are valuable, and in my experience, seeing another dermatologist made a significant difference. I was able to get an appointment with a dermatologist who had the appropriate knowledge and experience, and I finally received effective treatment that didn't take MONTHS to figure out.

I arrived and was checked in and had to complete some information on the iPad. I didn't have to wait long before someone called me to head back to the exam room. While in the room the lad họ who took me back yanked my iPad out of my hands and placed it on the counter and said I could finish it after. I think her name was Renee or something. So she asked me what I was there for and I told her I had bad eczema all over my body and ao she left and came back with a gown and told me to put thìs on with the opening in the back. So I barely took off my clothes and folded them the doctor came in and I was a bit shocked that no one knocked and even asked if I was ready. I closed the curtain thinking they'd know I was still potentially changing. I was nearly completely naked and was in shock the doctor and assistant just came in so abruptly. The doctor asked me if I needed a few more minutes, all I could say was could I get some privacy while holding onto my pants and covering myself with it. So the two left and I finally got into the gown and sat down and waited. It was a short while before the doctor and the assistant came back but I just sat there and waited. When the doctor came she took a look at my eczema scabs and scarring but she seemed to be very hands off. No gloves, no real examination, especially in the private area which I pointed to with my gown gently pulled up. Just a quick glance and letting me know which medication she was going to order for me. At the beginning of the meeting she asked me where I was seen previously and maybe I was no longer going to my previous dermatologist, so I don't know what her intention was to ask me that but I told her anyway and nothing really happened. The doctor spoke with me while the aid sat on the stool behind the curtain and was doing something on her iPad. Overall, the experience was more positive than negative. The doctor turned out to be really nice, the aid did her best to be professional (although still a bit pushy), and the staff member at the reception desk who helped me before and after my visit was good too. She was patient and friendly, and helped me get through the iPad questions and got me on my way. The office was also nice and clean, had cute figurines and trinkets placed into the built in wall shelves that gave the office a more personalized feel. It was my first visit and everything seemed to have gone well and hopefully it will stay that way.

AVOID! Schweiger Dermatology Group AVOID!…read more Needed to have a skin tag removed. $40 elsewhere. Made an appointment at this place. Drove about 45 minutes to get there. Hit traffic along the way, called to say I would be about 10 minutes late. Scheduling department transferred me to billing. Billing department transferred me back. But they received the information. I arrived 8 minutes after the scheduled appointment start time. Receptionist told me I was late and (without checking) told me to come back some other time. Someone then asked the doctor, and he said, okay, he'd see me. Receptionist then told me to pay up front. I asked if they accepted my health insurance (as they had used my insurance company's logo on their advertising), she said yes, but they need to be paid in advance for me to see a doctor. I asked why the surprise? Why was it impossible to mention this when you booked the appointment? She said you can pay in advance, and then try to get reimbursed from your insurance company. The pressure they are able to apply is based on your having taken time off work, driven a long way to see them, and then are presented with no alternatives other than to pay $250 in advance. I asked the receptionist if I could speak with the manager. She said there was no manager. I asked who was in charge of that office. She said she was. The truth did not seem to play a big role in our conversation. I said I could not believe that the entire operation, all the doctors, nurses, etc. reported to the receptionist. She finally said that there was someone in charge, but they were not there very much. I asked her to write the person's name and phone number on a piece of paper for me. She wrote on a piece of paper, handed it to me. One word - Kimberly. I asked if Kimberly had a last name. The receptionist said that Kimberly (the head of the office) did have a last name, but she did not know what it was. I asked if Kimberly had a phone number or email address. Same answer - yes but I (the receptionist that runs this building) do not know either one. One could claim that this was all a big misunderstanding, but to do so, and believe it, they would have to wonder, with such predatory pricing, why Schweiger Dermatology Group doesn't advise new customers in advance that Schweiger Dermatology Group really don't run the charges through the insurance company, but rather insists that $250 must be paid in advance for a 20 minute visit. This would have been very helpful information to have received. My guess is if they did, they would not have very many customers. Which appears to be the case. Dead hallways, empty waiting room, plenty of parking available, empty offices, etc. When the receptionist insisted that she runs the entire operation, and that there is no manager, but that there is kind of a manager, but the receptionist doesn't know her last name, or her phone number, one gets the idea that perhaps they are not getting the whole truth. Schweiger Dermatology Group was a huge waste of time. Read the reviews on Yelp about Schweiger Dermatology Group prior to scheduling. I sure wish I had. AVOID!

I came in the next day extra early just incase there was any forms to fill out but they just asked for my name and let me know they will be with me shortly. Soon after Jassi came and got me and took me to the room and she was so warm and welcoming!! She explained the entire process of the chemical peel and even told me about Diamond Glow which would only enhance my chemical peel and explained that process and benefits as well. After thinking about it ( for about 30 seconds) I decided to add the Diamond Glow to my Chemical peel. I'm so glad I did because it was so relaxing and I could just feel myself falling asleep because Jassi was so gentle and would always make sure I was doing okay. The chemical peel process was as expected, it burned but that had nothing to do with Jassi, she gave me the fan before the process and turned it on the highest setting. A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox!
