There were no lids available for the medium sized Slurpee, so we were forced to buy a larger size. Oh the travesty! lol. Blue Raspberry is our favorite, so the hubby and I split one of these. He had some trouble filling the cup and we probably should have switched to a different flavor at that point but didn't think anything of it. Well, it didn't stay frozen for more than a couple of minutes which was rather disappointing. Prices are reasonable. It was the red barn shaped building where you'd just pull up, get what you need, and go. Now, they've reinvented themselves as The Barn, and after blowing up on TikTok for their creative drinks, I knew I had to try their coffee. The Barn now offers so much more than your standard convenience drive thru. Their menu has leveled up with specialty lattes, dirty sodas, seasonal treats, and donuts. It was a crisp fall weekend and I was all about embracing the fall season vibes, so I went straight for a seasonal latte. The pumpkin spice latte came served INSIDE a real pumpkin! Not only was it super Instagram worthy, but the drink itself was a hit. Not overly sweet like so many pumpkin lattes tend to be. Definitely a fun way to enjoy a fall treat. My sister went for the Cookies and Scream latte, which was topped with a freshly baked Schmackary's cookie. She loved that it was both indulgent and flavorful, with the cookie as a decadent bonus. It's worth noting that these drinks are definitely on the pricier side. $38 for two lattes is a splurge, even by New York standards. But given the experience, and the fact that my drink was served in a literal pumpkin ... I can't say I regret it. That's right 3 jobs,and still managed to smile,and keep his cool with the insults and quick tempered customers. I soon found out that,all the employees worked two or three jobs.
