The fact that someone in customer service was screaming in a customers' face is a huge turn off as I went in calmly and did not raise my own voice when asking for the remake. The man that yelled at me could have calmly explained where the error was however he choose to yell instead of staying calm.

When you walk into the store there is a sign of items and prices and they compare them to some of the other markets in the area which is always good to see. Another plus is that they are open till Midnight and it's close to home. A year later and I'm obsessed with this super market. It's very clean and the customer service is always amazing. My son loves coming here to watch the lobsters. The seafood department always comes out with a Wegmans hat to give him and let him touch a lobster. The deli department is always nice. I love the meats from the meat section and the butcher. I love the organic everything they have it's always fresh and reasonable. The Bakery department is my other favorite part of the store. I never tried any of their cooked food. Except the sushi station. No complaints there. I tried many of their store bands and so far so good, except the cheese. It doesn't melt for some reason. I never had any issues at any of the department. From ordering Groceries from the app to looking for coupons, the app is great at navigating it all. There are a few brands that Wegmans does not sell so sometimes I still have to branch out to another market. But for our main supermarket Wegmans is it.

And they're consistently open which doesn't sound like much but there are other places that run on island time. If you're nearby then you'll likely come here for staples but you'll likely hike or bike further if you need proper produce and other things.

The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made it feel like more than just a place to grab a cup and go. What stood out to me most was the sense that this business is built around serving people and the community. As a Christian, I always appreciate coming across businesses where faith seems to be reflected not only in words, but in the way people are treated. It reminded me of Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." Great coffee, great people, and a business I'm happy to support. Luckily I was early so I made a u-turn and stopped to try the coffee here. In fall spirit I had to try the pumpkin-spice dirty chai. I was asked if regular milk was okay and was so thankful because I almost forgot that I was lactose intolerant. They have several milk substitutions including macadamia, oat, almond and soy. After paying I was asked if I wanted a single or double shot. Usually coffee shops charge by the shot so I went with the double. Honestly, im not a true pumpkin spice fanatic so I liked that the pumpkin spice flavor wasn't overpowering. It was the perfect mix of pumpkin and chai flavors for me. I started chatting with the barista/pharmacist and he let me know that they will be switching out the specials soon. I will definitely be back to try the next seasonal flavors.

I have a booklet on how to mix drinks with different types of alcohol that they used to give customers back to the 1950's. I grew up in Northport off of Elwood Road in the 1950's and 1960's and my father apparently went to Richter's for his liquor. When I got to drinking age I asked my father if I could borrow that booklet and I've had it ever since. It makes me feel good to know that a childhood store is still in business and still with the family name. That alone I would think shows they must treat their customers well as there are a lot of other liquor stores around. I see they have good reviews as well. Kudos to Richter's.
