Again VERY RUDELY DISMISSIVE When Trying To Explain I Was Only Trying To Make Her Aware Of The Situation That Happened With My Debit Card After Making A Purchase & Leaving That Gas Station .. I Called To Make Her Aware & To Inform Her To Have Someone Check Out That Card Reader So It Could Prevent It Happening To Other Customers .. I am a regular customer at speedway.. I always go and stop to get gas and treats for my daughter and myself... Yesterday 1-14-2026 My First Stop was there .. I went inside & made my purchase using my debit card .. I tapped it by usin the card reader.. ( I didn't insert it .. I didn't use my pin # I bypassed my info).. About 30 minutes later I started getting Alerts from my bank with unrecognizable charges from Apple. I knew something was wrong because of the amount .. First charge was $34 62.. (Apple always sends me a receipt for any of my purchases) .. I immediately locked my card .. When I unlocked it for just a moment I got three alerts from them stating that the purchases made were declined because the three digit code on the back wasn't provided.. I immediately called the bank to let them know to deactivate that card and to dispute the charge that was pending.. Speedway was the only purchase I made with that card that day or days prior... I called Speedway up after discussing with the bank representative that it would be a good gesture to let them be aware of what happened so they could check there card reader being I didn't have any issues until using it at there establishment to prevent it from happening to other customers.. I never NERVER write reviews..!! I The girl who answered was ignorant and rude... VERY RUDE & dismissive .... This Women /Girl didn't even fully want to hear what I was saying ... I know she didn't inform higher management about my concerns... I wonder how many other people this happened to .. .

I…read morefeel that people are force to put in a credit card for whatever reason for their medications for the pharmacy in the CVS App. Ok I get it some people don't carry cash so it's good for them. Me personally I always pay cash and it should be an option. I wish that my Credit was not in your system. So back to my husband he picked up my prescription and before he could say no I have the cash to pay, The girl behind the register right away made it her business and said she put it on the credit card without asking (would you like to charge it on your credit card? He would have said no because he had the cash which was $20.00 dollars for my Repatha 140 MG//ML SureClick. He said the girl is always on the first register in the Pharmacy. My husband told her my wife is not going to be happy about this. I had gave him $20.00 dollars for the medication injection and she didn't give him a chance to speak or ask him how are you paying? Who ever is the manager needs to train their associates about asking the customer first before pressing anything on the register. It's a damn shame that she didn't even ask. When I go to the pharmacy myself the tall young kid that's very polite always use to ask me first before taking action. He's a sweet young man that looks and sounds very polite and knows exactly what he's doing. I used to rate this store with the highest score but today I can't for that reason. If I was there I would've had her call a manager to refund my money back to my credit card because I have the cash and she didn't even ask. It's a shame that this happened and it had to be in the pharmacy. I never had a problem before with CVS never but today I was furious about this particular situation. Please talk to the associates in the Pharmacy about asking first and don't take it upon themselves to make decisions for their own customers thank you.
