My husband went to CVS today this afternoon Wednesday July 1,2026 to pick up my Prescription. I feel that people are force to put in a credit card for whatever reason for their medications for the pharmacy in the CVS App. Ok I get it some people don't carry cash so it's good for them. Me personally I always pay cash and it should be an option. I wish that my Credit was not in your system. So back to my husband he picked up my prescription and before he could say no I have the cash to pay, The girl behind the register right away made it her business and said she put it on the credit card without asking (would you like to charge it on your credit card? He would have said no because he had the cash which was $20.00 dollars for my Repatha 140 MG//ML SureClick. He said the girl is always on the first register in the Pharmacy. My husband told her my wife is not going to be happy about this. I had gave him $20.00 dollars for the medication injection and she didn't give him a chance to speak or ask him how are you paying? Who ever is the manager needs to train their associates about asking the customer first before pressing anything on the register. It's a damn shame that she didn't even ask. When I go to the pharmacy myself the tall young kid that's very polite always use to ask me first before taking action. He's a sweet young man that looks and sounds very polite and knows exactly what he's doing. I used to rate this store with the highest score but today I can't for that reason. If I was there I would've had her call a manager to refund my money back to my credit card because I have the cash and she didn't even ask. It's a shame that this happened and it had to be in the pharmacy. I never had a problem before with CVS never but today I was furious about this particular situation. Please talk to the associates in the Pharmacy about asking first and don't take it upon themselves to make decisions for their own customers thank you. read more

While CVS' prices aren't my cup of tea, I appreciate that even in the crack of dawn and pitch black in January, this is a 24hour CVS on E. Tremont Ave in Throggs Neck. There's angle parking with a separate entrance-exit design which I particularly like. The very first thing that caught my eye when I went inside, was their self-checkout registers. I mean..... not even my local North White Plains CVS has self-checkout lines! I thought this was cool and super convenient! From there, if you work your way through the aisles, you'll notice they're spotless and shelves- filled. So far, I've been getting some odds and ends before heading to work since I have little time to do so afterwards. I wouldn't know what the pharmacy dept. is like but I'm sure they can take care of most of your needs. read more

Pharmacy is run poorly when it comes to the wait line. It's Always long with a minimum of 30 mins, once I was there for over 2 hours. I am not sure why there's such long delays. I can only say it's managed poorly. Or perhaps the customer to staff ratio is not balanced. The cvs store section has good days and bad days. Some staff are more attentive then others but for the most part the staff is friendly and helpful. I am usually able to find what I need at this cvs. The parking lot always has parking. read more

I normally don't write reviews for stores, but this time I'll make an exception! I went to CVS because I needed to buy a battery for my key fob that opens and starts my car. I went inside, and probably because of the lost look on my face a nice store employee named Dagobert asked me if I needed help. I told him I was looking for a car fob battery, and he led me over to the stand that had a batch of them. I only needed one, but would be happy to buy a 2-pack so I could replace my wife's as well, but all they had was an 8 -pack that cost over $25! He looked thoroughly through the battery stand and shelves, but could not find a smaller pack. I told him I could not afford the 8-pack as times are rough, and he apologized for the store and offered to recommend some nearby stores that may carry the batteries. I then got a call from my wife asking me to pick up some medications that were ready at their pharmacy, so I thanked Dagobert for his help and headed to the pharmacy at the back of the store. The line was long, and about 10 minutes into me waiting Dagobert came up to me on the line and handed me a 4-pack of the batteries I was looking for, and at a very fair $10 price! He told me he felt bad and went to the stock room digging through boxes and found one pack left of the batteries I needed. I have to say... never in my life at ANY store has someone gone out of their way to help me the way he did. I almost teared up because I lost my faith in chain stores and felt workers just did not care anymore. He made me feel there's still hope left and good, decent people willing to help those in need. It's because of Dagobert that I will continue to shop at CVS and will be switching my own prescriptions from Walgreens to CVS! read more

Called in advance today because my normal CVS didn't have anymore of my daughters medicine. They told me they could expedite my order to 30 mins (mind you my daughter has been out house with flu Between doctors and running around for this medicine for 3 1/2 hrs). Came and stood in like for an extra 15 mins since they were busy (so now it's been 45 mins since my call). AND THEY TELL ME I ATIKK HAVE TI WAIT 15 mins. What the actual F***! Sick child in car and i know they didn't expedite it. They forgot. Wish my other spot had it in stock. This is a waste of people's time! They lucky we live further and would spend more time running bath and forth than waiting. read more

This CVS Pharmacy location needs a facelift..particularly where the vaccines are given.. There is no real privacy other than make shift dividers..the carpeting is worn needs cleaning..and definitely needs a paint job..it's concerning because this is where vaccines are being administered and cleanliness is a high priority! read more

The pharmacy places you on hold for more than 30 min with zero concern for the patient holding. They also never have sufficient pharmacy staff to assist. I do not recommend taking your prescriptions here read more

This is my go to drug store. They are very well stocked and the people are nice. They say hello and good bye when we arrive and leave. That's cool. But, coming here between 4p-7p during the week is like sitting in rush hour traffic. Yes it's slowest during this time. Worst pharmacy experience ever! I don't usually use cvs because they are always behind and take forever to do anything from friends experiences! Today was an emergency and they happen to be open late so I had no choice..the girl at the register cuts people off while they're talking because she's miserable..she's cocky for being behind a register and smiles like a smart ass after she's been rude. Worst pharmacy ever!!!! I have a lung problem and on 12/30/2019 I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I had to wait in the pharmacy for 2 hours for my prescriptions because they could not get the name right. Upon my return to my physician on 01/16/2020, I was prescribed additional medication. It took 24 hours for this pharmacy to accept the prescriptions and now another 24 hours has passed and the prescriptions have not been filled yet. After listening to the recording when I called the pharmacy, I was finally connected to a pharmacist (0610AM) and when I asked questions about my prescriptions he hung up the phone!!!! read more

Very disappointed in my experience. I'm here to pick up needed medication. There are more staff in the pharmaceutical department than people online. Yet I'm waiting to drop off for 35 minutes. The department works at a snails pace. I hope there is a customer service auditing policy in place where the work output can be observed via remote CCTV at the coroprate office. Had two prescriptions put in 6 days ago, got a call my prescriptions were ready, greeted by the "pick up" cashier tonight with the only attitude only to find out they only filled one of my prescriptions. These people are idiots and so nasty for no reason. Literally only one competent, friendly person working back there. FYI I'm still here, an hour later. They have time to chat with a customer about her boyfriend leaving her for some chick in Jamaica an never coming back, but not to fill my prescription. Horrible. Trying Rite Aide instead next time. Convenient place to come on Tremont and get just about anything you need since they have their own parking lot rather than trying to find street parking. Just don't use the photocenter here...their machines are always broken and the pictures just don't come out that good, if you ever get them. read more

This CVS suck a** they are always screwing up on the promotional advertisements. They never have flyers at the start of the sale week; nor towards mid-week or the end of the week. There cupón machine is always out of order. It frustrates me every time I try and shop there. I rather go to Rite Aid. I have been to other CVS and never have, I experience such bad service. The store supervisor never knows anything. It is a shame that this CVS is BS. The promotional sales are never in the system correctly. The CEO at CVS HQ should take note and investigate this store location. Also, they are always low on merchandise of all sorts of brand products. read more

The retail side of the house is outstanding. The pharmacy, however, leaves MUCH to be desired. The lack of discretion on the part of the technicians is abysmal. They expect you to state your date of birth and address in public when you pick up your prescriptions. This may narrowly pass HIPAA muster but it is nonetheless intrusive and just plain rude. Like I'm going to blurt out my address in an open forum! No way will I ever get a prescription filled in this pharmacy where there is a total lack of regard for customers' privacy. The pharmacy staff is also rude, short and arrogant. It is easy to tell that employee satisfaction is low and relations between pharmacists and technicians is, at best, strained. They need an HR makeover. read more

The coupons that print out- they wont let you use especially that Bengali- whats the point of having coupons then?!?! Most of the time their coupon machine does not even work- they claim that it is broken or the system is down Yeah Right! They are just to lazy to fix the machines. God forbid someone uses coupons. The pharmacy is a disgrace. Every time I go to pick up prescriptions no matter what time of day it takes at least 25 minutes. I usually go around 10pm when you think it'd be faster but it's not. I wouldn't mind waiting if once I finally got to the counter the pharmacist wasn't so rude and miserable. EVERY TIME. I can understand having a bad day or two. But every time I'm in there she's nasty to me. Yesterday I went to pick up two prescriptions and when I asked her "I think there should be two ready, right?" Just to make sure they were both there and filled she replied "yeah, I can read I know there's two." Excuse me, I am polite every time and if I had time to go during the day to the friendlier pharmacists I would unfortunately this is the hour I'm home from work. I suggest some customer service training. I will no longer be using CVS pharmacy and will encourage anyone I can to do the same. read more
