This gas station though is not only the worst gas station they have and believe me I've been all over, its the worst one in this area on general. It also happens to be the one i live closest to. Worst management EVER!! With only a couple exceptions staff is either sluggish or unfriendly. Stock is god awful most times. It feels like the gas station that runs from scraps from the store. Their gas pumps- holy slow batman!!! A couple of years ago it got very cold and every gas pump everywhere slowed down. These never recovered. Most people stop pumping well before they intended. Its beyond unreasonable. People at the pumps here audibly complain and voice these complaints each time to each other and to staff. Last time i heard a staff person say "Right now they're running a bit slow" Right now? A bit? Its been like that at least two years!!! A bit? Seriously? Itll take you twenty minutes to put in 40 dollars, no joke. Again, most people don't have that time when they stop for gas and so they just stop anywhere between 15-20 dollars. Its very very audible at the pumps because the slowness is just that much out of the ordinary. Its almost like its a practical joke how bad it is. Check pumps, desperately needs new managers, asst managers. There is a reason this place is the slowest gas station in Davison while people are lining up elsewhere, this ones a ghost town in comparison. Again, not a review of meijer or any other of their gas stations. The rest have all been pretty normal and I've been to a lot of them. This one though....its hard to believe this gas station is even a reality. Only giving a second star due to the couple people who aren't even management who are friendly, genuine, helpful. Meijers needs to clean house here desperately.

I entered the store to get something to drink and was pestered by the staff; they asked me several times if I "needed anything". I was perplexed and annoyed at these questions because I certainly did not need assistance in finding a drink (it is hardly rocket science). When I went up to pay for my drink, the clerk rudely chastised me, saying "You must not have read the sign: you are supposed to take your mask off so we can see your face." I can't say I have ever come across an anti-mask mandate. Masks are not required to wear 24/7 anymore, but as aforementioned I prefer to wear one still since I recently got COVID. The CDC still insists a mask be worn for the ten days after a positive COVID test. I was beyond those ten days at the time I entered the store. But if I had still been within that ten day period, the store clerk would have been demanding I do something that would go against the CDC's guidelines for mitigating COVID-19 exposure, and thus endanger public health. I can see why a mask might make anti-theft measures difficult, but common sense should be used when differentiating between a thief and someone who is simply wearing a mask for a medical reason. Clearly I was not the former, as thieves by definition do not pay for the items they wish to procure from a place of business. This anti-mask rule is ridiculous and also encroaching on my personal choices and rights as a customer and a citizen.

Yes, it maybe a little more, but I get my money's worth. When I had to get a part replaced in my engine, the people said they were surprised that the engine was pretty clean for having almost 200k miles. I guess Shell gas does clean your engines like the say in the commercials and I don't use premium gas.

I live in the metro Detroit area, and gas is way over three bucks. Anywhere from $3.09 to $3.35 a gallon. So $2.92 credit I had to top off. As I filled up my tank, I had the munchies and decided that I needed some road food. I went inside, and the two guys working were pretty hilarious. I am terrible with names, but I guess the one guy they were having a contest where he would eat this ghost pepper chip. That is insane. I have to admit I have wondered if he ate it.
