We had a bit of trouble to get the gas pump to start, so the lady who works inside the convenience store came out to help us. She said she coincidentally owns an Impala too and advised us EXACTLY how much we need to fill up to reach 5/8 of the tank (That was the odd requirement for our car return lol). Goodness, I was so impressed. She deserves credit for going above and beyond :) Thank you!

I've been passing this gas station throughout the past several years while doing Uber, and when I…read morewas severely close by (having dropped off a rider on Lincoln St a few minutes away) when I came upon it, I knew it was just that "right time and the right place." I had seen this location from a distance before, and although gas pricing here tends to be a little higher than most places (especially if you don't have a Price Plus card), I tried to stop in to try it out. However, it was the wrong decision. I knew I had my GasBuddy card to worry about and which is only accepted at pay-at-the-pump transactions. However, although it took my card, I was never asked before nor after the transaction if I wanted a receipt for the gas purchase. I ended up going in to retrieve the receipt - to which the employees were kind, and weren't busy (although the gas lines didn't show that) at all, the transaction went rather smooth. I only noticed a workable glitch in the hose location, and since this was the first time I had to fill up this newer car (to me), I couldn't quite figure out how far up I needed to go for the hose to reach and the remainder of the hose snagged on the pump hold bar - but was workable as I picked it up for it to reach. What I find most awkward is that although this ShopRite gas location is here, a few blocks down is the nearest ShopRite itself - generally where you find a ShopRite gas, you'll also find a ShopRite itself, and this was completely out of whack of everything I've learned about ShopRite before. (I actually visited that ShopRite in years past, and wrote the review of the location.) Keep in mind that this location is on the same street (Central Ave) as another ShopRite gas, although it is farther away from the other one as to not be interchangeable. It's easily confused - but it isn't the same. It's actually on the opposite side of the street many miles down closer to Albany than the Colonie one. I can't exactly say I'll be back to this location, because of the higher gas prices, but it's nice to know it exists if there's a sale on gas and this isn't crowded - not the case today, but it was my last hope for gas. I didn't really like that this station was rather crowded following the side of the pumps I needed for fitting my car's gas filling location easily. The station looked clean, including the inside of the convenience store, but I still have a wary feeling about this location.

The gas prices are about the same as everyone else, but sometimes they are slightly cheaper. The best thing about Cumberland Farms is that it is open 24 hours which is very convenient. Furthermore, the snacks and drinks are overpriced unless you get the fountain drinks which are less than a dollar. Also, the hot food here is disgusting. The hot dogs taste sour and the buns are rock hard. In addition, the pizza is pure garbage. It's slimy, undercooked, and will give you stomach aches. In conclusion, this Cumberland Farms is a good spot to grab some gas, but stay away from the food.

I'm glad they've expanded substantially. Still not a Wawa or Sheetz, but the presence of gas station on the premises and the addition of limited deli selections are excellent additions to their offerings. Worth noting their Free WiFi, clean deli, and wide beer selection. Pleasant employees and good service. A nice stop on a multi hour trip

When it gets busy, there can be a bit of a line waiting your turn. Even though there are pumps set up for gas tanks on both the driver's and passenger's sides, and arrows suggesting how to enter and exit, you always have those folks who will ignore the arrows and those waiting in line to back into a spot or drive around and come in from the back. Watch out for those folks. I'm docking them 1 star for bad signage. The sign before entering the gas area was definitely out of date. It showed a gas price fifteen cents lower than today's actual price. I'm wondering whether they're short staffed, too lazy to update the sign, or whether they think folks will be more interested in getting gas, then learning the price is higher but will stay anyway. C'mon, everyone coming here is already a BJs customer and knows the price is lower. The do need to remember one other thing... the Costco opening a couple of miles away in 2026 will also sell gas.

The…read moreolder woman behind the counter had the brightest and friendliest energy and when her boss called the store she answered 'what up playa'. It was genuinely a fun and friendly experience and not to mention these guys are the only ones around with Happy Dad (so good). Also this is one of the only gas stations I've been to that was actually clean. There were some plastic gloves on the ground outside, and before I pulled out of the parking lot, the staff had cleared them up. I'll keep it brief and say thank you to the woman behind the counter who made me laugh multiple times in my 3 minute excursion to the store, and thank you for doing your job happily and in such a friendly manner.
