    This place is treacherous!…read more So I've been here a bunch of times and witnessed staff being rude to customers, I guess it was just my turn to get it! First of all, the marquee says one price, only to find out inside that it's not that price. When I ask why the advertised lower price is "not the price" I get from Latonya, who is also the manager, "Do you want the gas or not?!" JUST PLAIN RUDE! For no reason.They are rude so much that they post the Speedway customer service complaint number at the register. Latonya was quick to tell me that if I didn't like it, I should "call the complaint number." It was her way of shooing me off. It is the culture of the store. This is how all employees address people because this is how they are trained. The way they do things. They don't even know what kindness is, nor do they try to enact any type of customer service model. Was this approved by Speedway? Does Speedway have a Customer Service model? Do they check on their stores? The store itself is a mess. They don't clean or mop the floors, and it seems like they barely rotate stock or check or clean the slushy and fountain drink machines. There are make shift paper signs hanging everywhere including hanging on drink machines and not to mention there is someone always having a problem with pumps, payment and processes. I know because it happens to someone almost every time I am in the store. Well, today I guess it was my turn to catch the wind of crudeness from behind the Speedway Oak Park, MI glass. There is little investment put back into the station itself. That is evident. The attitudes and service to clients is much worse than the store's physical condition and it's physical condition is pretty bad...but its condition is a direct reflection of the people who own it and the people who work there everyday. Speedway...I hope you care enough about your customers to make some investment in these areas. The service here is so bad that I will continue to report until I see some measurable changes. Customers are likely…read moreto seek services elsewhere to avoid unpleasant interactions, as she so eloquently told me to "go to another speedway", because of her inability to intelligently answer a question regarding a receipt. This gas station is never clean, the machines are always broken or out of order. The high staff turnover observed at this location could also be attributed to the poor management and classless act of this so called manager. A gas station, by nature, is a place of quick transactions, and an unprofessional manager creates unnecessary friction and delays.
