They started out as a Marathon…read moreStation at the corner of Holmes Road and Michigan Ave. However, they recently switched over to Exxon Mobil, which IMHO is a better grade of gasoline. As part of the changeover, the entire station and fueling areas received a complete facelift. I have been a customer here for the past 20 years, and have never had any problems. However, recently panhandlers have been approaching customers while fueling their vehicles and begging for money. This seems to be a problem along East Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti Township that needs to be dealt with. Thankfully, this location uses modern security cameras. If you need some chips, lottery tickets, or soft drinks, Beydoun's has that too. The workers at this service station are very friendly. Even the new gas pumps are fully modern, and you watch TV while you fill up.

I tried to tip her but she wouldn't accept it, quite humbly because I know she deserves it. She works long and hard hours like Me, it's nice to be able to relate and she gives Me inspiration every time I see her powering through her day. I took the tip that I wanted her to have and instead bought more things from the store, hoping that would benefit her in some way but I'm not sure it will. Thus, I felt the need to write this review. She's a great person to have in your store, I'm honestly surprised she isn't working corporate somewhere. If I needed a job I'd love to have her as a manager. Thank you Cindy! Gas prices are cheap but not any better than other nearby options. When I was there, a lot of kids were on the sidewalk where you pull in and out. They were going to cross Prospect to get to school. It seems odd that the city allowed a gas station to be built so close to an elementary school. Also the man working was incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I went to pay he barely acknowledged my presence and seemed annoyed to be there.

So I went inside and told the cashier $40. on pump 8. We made the transaction and I went back to my car to pump the gas, but the nozzle wouldn't work. I went back in and told them that the pump was broken. In so many words they knew this pump wasn't working and told me that the transaction will return on my card in two to three days. Meanwhile I still have no gas, and I am out $40 dollars. This is UNEXCEPTABLE. Someone needs to teach them about Customer service.
