Unlike other chain stores that the objective is: sell quickly and hit the target, they take their time and talk to you and try different options to make sure you get the right product and leave the store satisfied! We were there for ski boots and I think we took the longest time for our purchase! I'm very happy that I went there. If you want to enjoy skiing or snowboarding, go there! :) I know I will!

He did not start at the most expensive equipment, but asked my son a number of questions to ensure we got him the best equipment for his needs. As well, we were lined up outside at open, and I was pleased to see the attention to capacity and ensuring the right number of people were inside as per the guidelines. Among different activities the wilderness center offers, cross country skiing has to be my favorite. With equipment to rent and beautifully groomed trails this spot has it all. The staff were very friendly and helpful to answer my questions and get me fitted for skis. There are various degrees of difficulty for all levels of trail enthusiasts. Trails are well marked with signs and maps. You can even check out their website for trail conditions and other activity info. Definitely love getting my exercise while enjoying these last few winter days. I would recommend going earlier in the day to avoid more people especially if the weather is good.

Front entrance is beautiful, with lots of seating, space and a fireplace - just like a ski resort. Very cozy! Front desk offers cookies and fruit while they get you checked in, and the staff are warm and very friendly. I heard the hotel itself was renovated recently, so everything in the rooms was clean and new. O The bed is super comfortable! Bathroom amenities are nothing special, rooms come with microwave, mini fridge, awesome tv, free wifi, the standard stuff. Showerheads are awesome. The best part of his hotel is the breakfast. Free breakfast, and not the crappy one egg one toast kind. Full buffet of fruit, cheese, yogurt, scrambled (real) eggs, bacon strips, toast, croissants, cereals. Impressive for a free breakfast. The only qualms about this hotel is the pool and parking lot. The pool is kind of bleh, and showing signs of great age. Not very well lit and you can see the scummy stuff at the bottom of the hot tub. The parking lot upon entering has a very deep and deadly pot hole. I don't even think you can call it a pot hole, it was big enough to get a guy in a pick up truck to be disgruntled so watch for it while you are entering, it's on the left hand side. Room service was just ok, the ribs I had were not so fresh. There's an automatic $5 gratuity fee. Especially because they didn't put chocolate sauce on my banana split. How could you deny me of chocolate sauce!! *tear* I believe they are on the upside of improving, but I know it takes time to work out the kinks. WARNING TO PEOPLE LOOKING FOR SHUTTLE SERVICE: We attended…read morea wedding this weekend (Saturday, June 21st) where Golden Arrow was shuttling guests to and from the venue. I have NEVER witnessed such poor execution and lack of service/resolution. Upon arrival, the bus driver disregarded event signage and dropped the entire crowd off right where the Bride was standing before the wedding. Two people stopped and physically spoke to the driver to ask him to turn around, but he disregarded them and the bride was exposed to every guest before the wedding. WORSE, they did not show up for pick up. The bride had to start making panic calls, where the dispatcher LAUGHED at her. The Bride had an entire crowd of people who could not drive due to drinking, at a location where public transit is not available. The insincerity from Arrowhead was just gross. It took an extra hour to get a bus there to the venue for pickup, followed by an HOUR bus ride to the hotel that should only be about 30 minutes away. This is literally what wedding nightmares are made of. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR GUESTS STRANDED! Book literally any other company for shuttling.

The whole ride was chaotic--reckless driving, unnecessary delays, and zero customer service. The bus was also filthy, with trash from previous passengers still on the seats. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable company!
