Waiver is electronic so bring your phone. We did the Whyte/Happy Beer Street Tour that spends about half of the tour on Whyte Ave and the other half touring the quieter Happy Beer Street. This tour is 2 hours long and stops at 2 different venues - we stopped at Community and O'Byrne's Irish Pub. Was super awkward going down Whyte ave. People pointing and laughing and taking our pictures. If you don't like the attention sit on the bike's right (right hand closer to the front of the bike). Community was a let down as the bike's guide raved about the pizza-by-the-slice but when we got there at 5:30PM they said they had NO pizza ready and since we had only 30minutes at the stop they would Not be able to make it in-time for us :( O'Byrne's Irish Pub was fine but by then we were just working on finishing the drinks that were pre-bought with the bike (30drink package) and did not want to spend more money on drinks. It was +25degrees when we started but cooled nicely by 7PM but we were all a sweaty mess by then. Confirmed you should not wear flip flops as you do have to pedal and you want steady feet. i think there was 4 pedal spots per side and 1 per side that is over the wheel that does Not pedal and a bench at the back of the bike for non-pedaling people as well. 30 drink package was about right for the 12 of us as approx. 3 of us were driving. Great variety of drinks they offered from lager (no name-brands), cherry almond vodka cocktail, vodka lemonade, hard iced tea. And of course free water via water bottles. Every person (except the bench at the back) has a cup holder and the organizer of my event made and brough those yeti cups personalized with our names and those fit fine in the cup holders too and we just poured the cans in those. You can bring a small bag/purse and they can put it up "in the rafters" can give it to you every stop as well. Overall a really cool experience and I am sure I will be back.

We had three instructors/helpers who were all super friendly and helpful! The scenery simply could not be best against the majestic Edmonton river valley! I totally need to come back for one of the hour long tours! They even offer winter snow tours complete with winter tires ;-) In the summer they rent out other items like bicycles and also have BBQ's. Thank you River Valley Adventures, and especially Josh, for making our experience too notch! I felt completely safe and supported after a quick one-on-one set up!

We were picked up and dropped off in Churchill Square by the transit stop and Tix on the Square. We learned about Edmonton's history, culture, demographics, and even politics as we rolled by so many attractions and points of interest. Our bus was comfortable and the sound system was great. Our host Greg was a very cool laid back sort who made the trip very enjoyable. He stopped the bus a few times so we could take photos of the spectacular scenery. Some of the things we saw included City Hall, the Winspear Cocert Hall, Edmonton Sport Hall of Fame, Citadel Theatre, Whyte Ave Entertainment/Shopping District, Old Strathcona Farmer's Market, Garneau Theatre, Hawrelak Park, University of Alberta, Fort Edmonton, the huge West Edmonton Mall, the posh Glenora neighborhood, the Neon Museum, and the 124 St Gallery and Shopping District. Oh, and at the end of the tour, you get a free cookie ! It was a terrific way to learn about the area and see some very nice sights.

Fees and beer orders are paid in advance. When your party arrives, you must all sign electronic waivers. The rules of the road are explained and you are on your way. Lots of cheering and laughter. We stopped at 2 different neighbourhood brew pubs. Sip your pint and use the facilities then head back. Time flew. Our 2 pilots were super energetic and kept the party going. Nice folks. P.S. I have been coming here for four years now and love this campground. But it's nestled into the river valley that you can't even tell you are minutes from the town of Devon. There are great long-term spots, week or just weekend but book early because the campground does fill up. You can cancel within 48 hours of your date with a small penalty so that's a nice option. The campground is close to the river and hiking trails so make sure to bring a swimsuit and boots in order to take in all the activities! Otherwise sit around the fire (you can buy firewood at the front) and enjoy your getaway!

There was about 90 people coming (some camping and some just coming for the day). I was skeptical about any place accommodating that many people, but this place had a huge area. Rented a gazebo that had a mini kitchen with fridge and counters, as well as a huge fire pit in the middle, along with lots of benches. There is a big grassy field (and I mean BIG) to do lots of activity, as well as a small playground for the kiddies. You can either camp with tents or if you bring a trailer there is hook ups for water, power and toilet. And if you run of out supplies, you're practically in the town of Devon, so the grocery store is only about 3 minutes drive away. The biggest bonus is it being pretty much in the town of Devon, yet you feel like you're camping out int the mountains. As well, being only about 20 minutes from Edmonton (15 or so from Spruce Grove), you don't have to drive far. If people don't want to camp, they can just drop in for the day, lots of visitor parking.
