We took our 2 sons here for close to three years and could not have been more pleased with the school and the education that they provided both of them. Our boys are both in elementary school now and attend the afterschool program at their school or we would have never left.! Our oldest started kindergarten almost able to read after we started there when he was almost 4 years old and our youngest, who started when he was 2 years old just started kindergarten and is on a first grade reading level. We give full credit to the education they received while attending Sunrise and could not recommend them enough. All the teachers and staff through the years that we were there have treated our boys with so much love and we were extremely sad to leave! My Son stated here when he was 2 years old and has continued until 6th grade. Miss Moss and Miss Angela and Miss Suci have been amazing though all these years. From my experience with Sunrise, the initial contact was made with Mass. she is very amicable and very helpful. She worked with us to be able to schedule the initial tour of facility and provided program information. My two girls were fascinated and excited from the initial tour. My daughter has been going for 9 months and all I can say is by far the best preschool/ daycare. They really take the time to teach the kids and interact with them, I love this school I wouldn't take her out for any reason! My daughter has learned so much and is always excited to go. After weeks of researching daycares for my 3 month old I finally settled on Sunrise. I went in to take a tour of the facility, I was given a tour by Ms.Angila she was so nice and reassuring and informative. Once a spot opened up it was very easy to register my daughter. I also met with the infant teachers who were so kind and again reassuring because as any parent knows, having to leave your baby with someone else comes with a lot of anxiety. But everyone who I've come in contact with has been so nice and reassuring and just pleasant and has helped put me at ease about the whole situation. I called to do a tour, Angela was short with me. I went there Angela seemed like I disturbed her. No inviting even for a second. Maybe she didn't have time ?? Anyhow , Not a pleasant first impression to somewhere that I considered sending my child. I'll pass on this one. read more

Called back again and after the 3rd phone call I was able to speak to someone on the phone I let them know I was just following up since I hadn't received any calls She said ok and remained silent I let her know my child's gender & age She asked a few questions about potty training and schedules She began to try and set up a time to tour the facility I agreed and asked if I could have pricing now to know if it is in with in my budget or not She said no that right now they are not doing it over the phone. I asked why & she responded with "I do not know" We went back to discussing your times, I let her know I work full time and gave her my availability, she said they only do tours at specific times. Went in to get a quote, the receptionist was not there, no security. A parent walked in and flagged a staff member to come help me. Waited a while but was greeted with a nice person though. Gave me the qoute I asked for. However! May or mah answered my call saying I know we told you no problem but #1 not worth it for them, (cause I only need one day.) #2 "no room for your kids in our vans. To much work." Both my daughter and my son went to Sunrise. My daughter for more or less 3 years, since she was about 8 months old. My son for about 6 months, since he was 3 months old. This place is amazing and my wife and my kids and I loved it. Staff is great, very professional and super friendly. Management is awesome. Everyone really cares so much and make sure that your kids get the best. Hours are super flexible, we left the kids for 10-10.5 hours a day. We also saw improvements in development of both kids all the time. The kids liked to go there and we didn't mind leaving them there for so long hours since this place was so great and since they liked it so much. In any case, unless we had to move states, we would keep the kids there :). Highly recommended. read more

We enrolled my son at Sunrise Children's Center when he was 2. He was in a home daycare before. Big mistake. We didn't realize how little he was learning at the home daycare. I am always blown away at how much my son is learning at this school. They do tons of activities and I love it when he comes home with crafts that he makes while he is there. They even have special days that include the parents from time to time. Donuts with Dad on Father's Day was not something that I would have gotten at a home day care. He loves going to school. Even on the weekends, he wakes up and asks to go to school! He has made lots of friends there. It is so cute to see other boys and girls hug him when he arrives every morning! It's just a little bittersweet to watch him run off to be with his friends screaming "Bye, Dada!" He doesn't even look back! He loves it there! The staff is incredible. Am am always surprised at how everyone greats my son by name when he arrives every morning. How do they remember all these kids names!! Every morning, he is greeted by Angela. She is so kind to the children, is excited when they arrive, and always makes my son feel special. His teacher, Mrs. Rina is wonderful and makes sure that each of her students are afforded the option to learn and grow in their own unique way. There have been a few times where a child might fall and get upset. The staff are wonderful about giving hugs and helping the kids feel better. It's like my son's extended family. The management is approachable and understanding. They communicate well and show genuine interest in the development of each child. They are fully aware of how my son is developing and keep my wife and I in the loop. The owners are great and put a lot of effort to make sure the children and parents have a positive experience. This place is first class and I am very pleased. I only wish we had enrolled him sooner! read more

My daughter LOVES her teachers there. Teachers are so attentive to the children. My daughter could be difficult sometimes and they are so patient with her. When I dropped my daughter off there in the morning, I feel like I'm dropping her off with my own mother! Unfortunately, we have to move to AZ and we wish they would have a center here too. My daughter has been coming here for 2 years now and the staff are always so kind and "loving" to her. She always feels welcomed and loved by the teachers, staff, and children. All of the staff are easy to talk to. There were definitely some hiccups when we first started coming here 2 years ago, but the daycare center was just starting up so that's expected. I know my daughter is actually learning here because she comes home reciting songs, counting higher and higher, coloring better and better, and has different things to write or draw each week. We were hesitant to return to this day care after the Bixby Oaks fiasco a couple years ago, but after seeing that it was under new ownership/management we decided to give it a shot. We have been very happy with the service, activities and attitudes of the staff at Sunrise. Our girls enjoy going and talk about how much they like their instructors. I love this day care! My daughter started attending at 5 months old and is now 9 months old. My daughter has never been in a daycare and it was hard to find a place I felt comfortable with. I really like the security of the building and how my daughter gets excited to come every day. The staff is nice and helpful. They really made it easy for me to get my daughter registered at such short notice. They also worked with me on my payments. We love Sunrise!! I am one of those Momma bear type that find it hard to leave my children, but I must work! My son is 2 1/2 and is always so happy to get to school in the morning and just loves his teachers. One morning, my son had a minor asthma attack (that we treated) before school so when I dropped him off I was a little nervous to leave him in someone else's care. I probably called the preschool about 7 times throughout the day to check on him. Each time they were so happy to give me the report of how he was doing. Later, when I picked him up I apologized for being so nervous and calling so much and they told me I could call 100 times if I needed to, they understood completely making me feel so comfortable. I am so grateful and relieved to have found such a wonderful daycare for my daughter. She has been attending this daycare since she is 5 months old and now she is a little over 1 yrs. As a mother, it was extremely hard for me to leave my first and only child and go back to work. However, all the teachers and the owners have taken such good care of my little girl. All the teachers know my daughter and are so attentive!! I know it's not just an act with these teachers because my 1 year old daughter get excited when she see's them. That makes me so happy! My little girl absolutely LOVES Ms. J & Ms. Janet. They are wonderful. They always keep me up to date about my daughters day.Even my husband has developed a nice relationship with the owners. Wish I could say the same about the other reviews. We had my daughter here for a few months before I pulled her out. Not the cleanest place as children came to school with the "greenies" and I complained to the director. This was before I found out that recently there was an outbreak of hand, foot and mouth that was neglected to be reported to the Health Dept.( Social Services website). Her teacher Mrs. Jenni was fabulous and I always worried when she wasn't there. It appeared as though the other teachers weren't engaged with the children as Mrs J was and consequently letting them run a muck. I witnessed other teachers on their cell phones or in the corner doing what ever they were doing. My daughter came home hitting more and we had rough evenings. At the end, she began crying not wanting me to leave her. That's when I knew it was time to go. When I called to let them know my daughter was not returning, I was told the owner would call me to discuss. Well I'm still waiting for that call over a month later. read more
