I went to this church for many, many years. It has become a breeding ground for hate and…read moreintolerance in a way that is extremely un-Christlike. I am blown away by what I've seen from its members in the last decade or so. This year alone, I have been mercilessly harassed by MULTIPLE (4) members of this congregation. I am a public middle school teacher who gave my students book trailers for 65 books in our (board-approved) school library. Because 4 of those books had queer characters, rather than addressing concerns to the actual school board that had approved the books, or talking to me personally, 4 members of this church went INSANE in spreading hate and harassment about me online. The posts and comments made by members of this church were chilling. A friend in the community is the one who finally realized that Grace Church was the common denominator in all of the hate-filled rhetoric. Obviously, there are different interpretations of the Bible -- there are mainline denominations and more conservative ones like Grace, that teach a literal interpretation of certain Bible passages. That's not the issue... the issue is that this seems to have become a breeding ground for contempt in a way that is antithetical to the gospel. I had some great memories of this place as a kid at church camp, but as an adult, I found the teachings to increasingly focus on creating an extreme Us/Them dichotomy that enflames people already leaning towards racism, homophobia, and othering on their own. It has broken my heart to watch this and to experience it firsthand.

Religion and politics can never be separated. We must fight to preserve our culture and traditions in the face of them being threatened with extermination. It is churches like Grace that will fight for and protect our rights as Christian American citizens. This church has a backbone. The courage is admirable and I'm extremely proud to be a part of this congregation. I finally feel like there is a Godly community where we can band together to fight for what is right and Holy during this spiritual warfare. God bless this church. It is a powerhouse that God is working through.

Please know that this is a timely place. They start at 9am and 11am. Also, there will be no excuse for children they have care for the newborns up to 5th grade. I was led to find a place that would appeal to my entire family. We are a family of 8 with 8 different personalities and attitudes in order to expect different results you have to do something different! This was a huge change for our family and I will never regret it. There are options for everyone! There are several locations, but you felpart of the congregation however you decide to worship. You can stream, visit in person, listen to podcasts...... it is a "contemporary" feel that is unmatched! I would highly suggest visiting.

My wife and I went to the 11:35 service 11-2-2025 and…read morewalking through the lobby the noise was so loud we looked at each other practically stunned. there was everything you'd expect attending a rock concert. we found our way to the auditorium and took seats about 10 minutes before the service was to begin and it was very dark and there 6 or 8 huge screens and the music was deafening and certainly not the kind of music you would expect in a church. when the worship team came on the stage and started to ROCK OUT, we looked at each other and said let's leave, it was literally too loud to subject ourselves to. on the way out the 2 greeters at the door recognized that we had just come in, and we said the music was so loud we had to leave and the reply was, you can get ear plugs. They had a Nintendo DS giveaway. So many games inside for the kids. They had a selfie station! Incredible little church. So welcoming and inviting.
