After my first visit back I am reminded of what a blessing this place is from the front office ladies, hygienists, to the dentists. I didn't get his name but he did my exam after cleaning because Dr Jorgensen was with another patient. I don't know about you but I like to be in control of my healthcare. I get irritated when I make an appointment with one doctor and am seen by another doctor. I like to be in control and don't want to be seen by one guy this time and the other guy the next time. Because the repair was at "no charge" I decided to have it done with them. The surgeon never checked to make sure the top aligned with the bottom. It's been several years and I'm still having jaw problems. My smile is lopsided. All future dental work has to accommodate his mistake. And I tell EVERYONE what happened. I broke down in the ER weeks ago and called this office and was told by the call center supervisor Julie to go to the ER in Richland and that there was a dental surgeon that contracted with them that could help me. They sent me away and then I went back to the ER later that night because I'm in pain. Horrible pain that makes me want to end my life. Horrible pain that I have been dealing with for three f****** years. So would emergency consultation was scheduled for Monday morning and I was told that I did not have to have anybody with me in that I could be dropped off. I show up. All of a sudden one thing can't happen. And then another thing can't happen. And then it turns out someone was actually supposed to stay with me and not drop me off. It is my emergency but I am working with the schedule of my ride. What is so hard to understand or consider around that? And why is that the thing that prevented my care? Not having someone with me WHEN YOU YOURSELF SAID THAT I COULD BE DROPPED OFF. IF YOU HAD TOLD ME AT THE ER THAT I NEEDED SOMEONE WITH ME THEN THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED BUT YOU SAID I COULD BE DROPPED OFF AND THEN YOU TURNED ME AWAY BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE SOMEONE WITH ME AND YOU DID NOT ALLOW ME TO RESCHEDULE. My friends have a life, like everyone else, and this is not their emergency. The earliest I could reschedule to fit in a time where my friend could be with me was Friday. Dr Cooper I think it is told me that this is an emergency and it needs to happen that day and if it's not happening then it's not going to happen. And doctor, YOU may not think that I am important enough to reschedule for but my friends do think that I am important enough to schedule around. What you think of my worth does not define who I am as a person and I think that you are a worthless dentist and doctor for that reasoning. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you are. Referred for a root canal on a dead tooth and to make sure I had no fractures. After doing some…read moresort of dental MRI, I was told I needed two root canals because I had an abscess in another tooth that I wasn't having any issues with. I was told I would be given an estimate after my insurance was contracted and before my appointment that I would pay at the time of the appointment. The quote was a little more than I could afford going into the holiday season and I almost delayed the work because I wasn't having issues, but I bit the bullet and used a credit card. I felt that they did a very thorough job with the root canals and only felt discomfort due to my TMJ, so I thought it went well. I ended up with a black and blue bruise on my face for a couple of weeks that was very painful and I was billed a month later for an additional 250% of what I already paid on my credit card, that I most definitely can not afford and would have delayed the work and sought treatment elsewhere had I known the total cost beforehand, especially since neither tooth was bothering me.
